The Fenix 7 is a great watch for all things that keep you moving to achieve peak performance. Size of watch matters. If your wrist is on the petite side or larger than average, size accordingly to achieve your ideal fit. Under sizing or oversizing will not affect the transmission of data but will affect comfort. Big plus that no subscription fee required to access and view the most pertinent performance data.

Great and easy to use. Has more features than I care to use but it does have some added ones that have made me more cognizant of my need for rest.

I upgraded from fenix 5 and it was a huge jump, I am enjoying it, Garmin Pay Widget still trying to figure it out, but is not seamless yet

Lots of data points to review and consider. I have owed the watch for about three weeks and am still trying to figure out how to navigate it.

Of course a Fenix 7 has everything you need and more. I had my eye om Fenix 8 but the price was too hefty, considering that you get almost the same thing with Fenix 7 for half the price. I do like the grey band together with the metal bezel. I always found my Forerunner 255 not great together with my suits and shirts (which was one of the reasons for buying a new watch) but Fenix 7 blends perfectly and still looks cool as a sports watch.

In short - watch exceeded my expectations! Coming from a Fenix 3 (non HR version) I was buying Fenix 7 due to the fact of elevate 4.0 HR and body metrics sensors which should be quite precise in what they do and I have to say I am impressed so far! I am using the watch for gym activities + orbi-track (elliptical) cardio excercises. Watch allows to load a workout directly to it and follow the schedule and training plan for the day. After that it gives me my stats and suggestions for recovery. As well I do see how ready for the training I am what as well motivates me for a workout on the day when it says "go for it" :) So far watch is doing GREAT and I'm very happy with how it's performing. Touch screen is a great to have addition but I use it for NON workout related purposes (swipe through widgets during the day to check my stats/body condition etc) AND to swipe through notifications (comes in very handy). I do like the styling of this model a lot as it's very similar to my previous F3 which I was totally loving for the looks and readibility. It's a bit smaller then my Fenix 3 in physical dimensiona and the size is actually great! (originally was even thinking about FR955 as I was planing to sleep with the watch but took the Fenix). I can surely say that it fits way better then F3 and feels better on my hand. Sleeping with the watch is very good, you almost forget that you have it on. Morning report is a cool little thing that gives all my stats when I wake up (enjoying this tiny feature a lot!) As a conclusion I should say that this is THE BEST upgrade I've done so far and first thing that I ever bought that makes me do something (train/workout) only because it gives you all the stats on a glance (training readiness and body battery). Highly recommend to those who are looking for a device to keep track of your trainings and health. p.s. I've seen videos that watch is not doing all the sleep metrics too well, sadly this looks like true BUT in order for the watch to understand that you're not ready for the workout it is sufficient to record how long you actually slept and woke up during the night. It is not 100% needed to count how many sleep cycles you have to confirm how rested you are. It tracks my sleep/wake time quite acurately, even though according to the youtube review fenix 7 misses what sleep type you have (deep/light/rem) in some occasions. It first made me be disapointed after watching the video, but hey, it surely isn't ruining the general picture. I do like the watch A LOT and would surely buy it again if you ask me what is my opinion after reading this sleep tracking report on you tube :)

Ho avuto modo di provare il Garmin Fēnix 7 e, dopo averlo usato per un po', posso dire che è uno smartwatch davvero eccezionale, soprattutto per chi ama fare sport all’aperto e ha bisogno di un dispositivo versatile e robusto. È un orologio pensato per chi cerca prestazioni elevate, durata della batteria e una serie di funzionalità avanzate, senza compromessi sulla resistenza. Design e Display Il design del Garmin Fēnix 7 è davvero solido. La cassa in acciaio inox (o materiale composito, a seconda del modello che scegli) gli conferisce un aspetto elegante ma robusto. Il display è fantastico: si tratta di un touchscreen transflettivo, che è una vera comodità quando sono all’aperto, anche sotto la luce diretta del sole. Non importa quanto forte sia il sole, riesco sempre a vedere chiaramente le informazioni sullo schermo. Prestazioni e Funzionalità Una delle cose che mi ha impressionato di più è la varietà di sport supportati dal Fēnix 7. Può monitorare oltre 30 attività diverse, da corsa, ciclismo, nuoto, fino a escursionismo, sci e golf. Per ognuna di queste, ci sono metriche dettagliate che ti permettono di monitorare il tuo allenamento in modo preciso. Il GPS è incredibilmente preciso, e la durata della batteria è una delle migliori che abbia mai trovato su uno smartwatch. Posso arrivare a 18 giorni di utilizzo normale e fino a 57 ore con il GPS attivo, il che lo rende perfetto per lunghe escursioni o gare di resistenza. La navigazione è semplice e chiara, e mi ha aiutato a non perdere mai la strada. Durabilità e Resistenza Questo orologio è davvero progettato per durare. È impermeabile fino a 100 metri (10 ATM), quindi posso indossarlo anche per nuotare o fare immersioni superficiali senza problemi. Inoltre, il materiale antigraffio e la resistenza agli urti fanno sì che il Fēnix 7 sopporti qualsiasi tipo di ambiente, che sia in montagna o in città.
