It's a really good camera. It has its own video transmitting tablet which works flawlessly out of the box. All the negative comments are about the internet 3 months free trial cloud service that works through the app. There is a slight delay but doesn't bother me. If I need instant uninterrupted video I use the device that comes with the camera that doesn't use internet to transmit the video. The battery is good too. Haven't recharged yet.

Expensive but worth it

This does everything claimed in a quality package. Very much worth the cost.

Overall, this is a rather good baby monitor. We have had it for over a year now and works pretty well. The connectivity is good, however, the picture can get grainy at times. The night vision and sound are both very good and a highlight. The camera can span the room and move when you manually controll it, which is nice, and you can also connect to your phone. Overall good money value.

Terrible monitor. Have been using this for a few months and just upgraded to the Nanit. I loved the idea of the app and parent unit, but the actual camera is trash. The temperature is wildly inaccurate, it looks grainy and streaky half the time, and the sound is very pixelated (through the app and monitor). The monitor is super bright on even the lowest setting and has to be plugged in frequently as it’s usually dying on me. Save the headache!

This worked great for the time it was active, but one day it overheated and then would no longer turn on at all. For that 3 stars and now i'm back to buying a baby monitor all before my daughter is 14 months...

Bought as gift and the parents were very happy!
