I am assuming you are referring to a kiln, you do not need a kiln to use the wheel. However, most clay that is thrown on a wheel requires a kiln to finish the process but I just take mine in to a local studio to have them fired.

Do you offer or suggest where I can buy a replacement wheel head?

You should reach out to the seller directly or reach out to the manufacturer. I’m sure you can buy parts from them.

The instructions explicitly state not to use an extension cord. My plugs are higher on the wall and cord is too short! What to do?

I use an extension cord. Haven’t had any problems! Mind you the cord I use is more industrial and meant for outside and powering power tools and stuff. I don’t know if that makes a difference
