I had bought a cheap car phone mount in the past, and unfortunately the plastic hooks broke after just two weeks of use. I was really disappointed.Presumably because of the cheap clips - doesn’t have the best strength. After being disappointed by other phone holder,the VANMASS car vent phone mount stands out - it is a quality part and does exactly as it is supposed to do. This mount uses metal hooks that become very stable and secure once tightened. The actual product matches the description perfectly - it can perfectly hold my phone in place, and the quick-grip and release function works great. It's incredibly durable and well-made. I prefer the 1.0 version of this phone holder because I though it was more stable and made from better plastics. It was prone to come loose after a while. This version seems like it will not come loose ever! but.. there is a little bit of shaking side to side in the phone holder. The monut itself seems rock solid and the phone will absolutely NOT come out...just some minor shaking I guess irritates my OCD After my initial review the company reached out to me and sent me two replacements to try and make me happy. Above All else you should be very confident that this company provides outstanding customer service if for any reason you are not happy. You can buy this product with confidence that the company stands behind it. Five star customer service! I hope for the next version they go back to slightly better materials and I will certainly buy the next one.

I have bought and thrown out many junky and poorly designed car phone holders over the years. I just installed this one in my car today, and this is my dream come true. The hook in the back is brilliant, and these people nailed the simplicity, elegance and excellence of this well thought-out and executed design. It was super easy to install, and very intuitive....just a few minutes. I wish I would have found this many years ago. I prefer to mount a car phone holder on the air vent because it is the best location, as the dashboard or window location is not as elegant, and is more distracting. If you want to use a magnetisized cell phone holder, you have to take your cell phone case off first. And if you use one that sticks with adhesive to the dashboard, it falls off in the summer heat. I have been driving around with my GPS cell phone in my lap for a few months since my last phone holder died, and can't wait to use this moving forward. A great thank you and appreciation to this company for getting it right.

This system does not work in all vents. I did not work, for example, in my Porsche Panamera. Even if it does work, it can be too impractical, as in my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee. Also, to some extent one is blocking air flow. That said, I have seen many Uber drivers use them. They seem best for cars with center vents.

The phone holder is perfect for my needs as it holds the phone firmly. It doesn't fall away from the air vents like some competitors, as it has a special hook at the back which holds it firmly in place. I love that I can rotate it to landscape view very easily, by just twisting the holder. It can adjust to different phone sizes and widths. On bumpy roads it stays secure and there isn't any vibration. It was very easy and quick to fit. I have recommended this product to my friends.

Bought this product as I wanted to use a vent based non magnetic mount. Really like the metal clip hook and the solid construction of this unit. With a push button, it is easy to install and remove your phone. I have an older iPhone XS max which is way bigger and heavier than newer phones and this one was able to securely hold it in place. Like all other VENMASS products, build quality is exceptional. Only issue I encountered was the distance between the two vent slots was a little tight for me. However once inside (hook part), all was quite straight forward. This was an issue with BMZ Z4 but it was ok when installing on a different brand of vehicle

quality is good, But too expensive for the quality. I paid for quick delivery, still arrived 4 days late, almost missed the birthday of the gift receiver.
