Good tarp !! I sprayed mine with waterproofing stuff just to be efficient. definitely get a set of tarp poles , some heavy duty umbrella holders, and heavy duty ground stakes. the 17x10 catches a lot of breeze and it will pull up standard stakes

Used this as a secondary rain fly when tent camping. Worked very well during a heavy rain storm.

Can’t wait to use it, but I’ve had it open and inspected it, the fabric is light, but strong. I have no doubt it will protect my camp from weather. The best part is that I can overlap this tart. It can be over lapped with my existing 10x10 tarp to cover a 10x20 space (about 10x20 not counting the “tails” on the one end). This will give me a larger social space even if I camp with a friend!

Harmonious sound in the rain. Used it over a ridgeline for my hammock, and folded as a tipi tent. What it lacks in anchor points, I make up for with paracord monkey fists and taut lines. Didn’t think I’d like the extra flaps, but they come in handy as the ‘floor’ when setting up in tent mode.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Take this on all rustic camping trips. Poles not included

Great tarp and shade cover for camping. However, not great in windy weather or heavy rains. The stakes might as well be made of cardboard. I had to purchase poles separately so for the hundred dollars that I spent it was not really worth it for one camping trip. 120 mile an hour gusts of wind and it blew right away. I think if it came with a sturdier grounding system, maybe rebar or stronger grounding it would’ve been an OK purchase. It was fine for the trip that I used it on but I wouldn’t purchase it again. Can only recommend for low wind situation’s and buyer. Beware it does not come with polls.
