Very compact and lightweight wireless dual lav mic system for recording 1 or 2 persons for videos
The media could not be loaded. This is a very compact dual wireless lav microphone system that includes 1 receiver and 2 transmitters in the package. The transmitter is versatile in that it has a built-in microphone capsule for recording audio, in addition to being able to plug in a wired lav mic to its 3.5mm AUX port. It’s your choice to either record your voice using only the built-in mic capsule on top of the transmitter or to attach the provided wired lav mic that includes a dead cat/kitten. That’s what I like about this Comica Boom XU2 wireless system, plus the fact that all the units are very compact in size and very light weight. The package kit contains everything you need to record 2 persons simultaneously if you want to, or just use one transmitter if you are only recording one person such as yourself. The package comes in a very nice carry case that holds all the various items, everything fits neatly in the case for easy transport. Although this microphone is rated for something like over a couple hundred feet distance, I would personally never use this microphone that far away. I am typically doing simple YouTube video creation whereby my camera is around 5 to 7 feet away from me with the wireless receiver on top of the camera. So recording from a long distance is not practical nor necessary for my needs, plus nobody would be able to see my face if I’m recording from so far away. Generally speaking, wireless lav microphone systems work better indoors than outdoors. Why is that? Because with indoor usage, a typical wireless lav microphone signal will bounce around the walls and come back to the receiver. But in open outdoor usage, there are no walls for the signal to bounce around, hence making it more difficult to maintain a signal from a longer distance. This is especially true when there is no line-of-sight whereby the transmitter is not directly facing the receiver on the camera, which means this can result in a dropped signal and gets worse over longer distances. But again, this is not applicable for my own needs for doing online video content whereby I am filming myself in front of the camera within 10 feet away from the wireless receiver on the camera. Of course, your needs may be different and your mileage may vary which depends on many factors. Therefore, I’m more interested in other practical aspects of a wireless lav mic, such as reliability and ease of use without too much fussing around with settings. The Comica Boom XU2 works well for my needs given the type of work I do. I generally only use 1 transmitter paired to the receiver, but I like the idea that this package kit comes with 2 wireless transmitters in case I have a second person that I want to film and record for audio. I prefer using a wireless lav mic because I like the freedom of moving around without having audio cables get in the way. It’s pretty intuitive and easy to use this microphone, you simply need to charge the units first via the supplied USB cable, then pair the transmitters and receiver, set the volume gain to an appropriate level, choose either mono or stereo (depending whether recording 1 or 2 persons), choose to attach the wired lav mic to the transmitter (or not), and then you’re in business. Pairing the transmitters and receiver might be a little tricky at first because you need to have the transmitters very close to the receiver, but once paired, it’s pretty much easy going after that. Battery life is pretty decent too and you should be able to get at least a few hours or more on a single charge, but battery life always varies depending on many factors. For better signal reception, it’s best to extend the folding antenna outwards for both the transmitter(s) and receiver especially if recording from longer distances. If you are recording from a short distance, then you can probably fold down the antenna to the side of the unit to be more compact. Also, try to have direct line of sight as much as possible whereby the transmitter and receiver units are facing each other, especially when recording farther away, as this will yield better results. The overall sound quality of this microphone is pretty good, audio is crisp, especially when you have direct line of sight between the transmitter and receiver. The microphone transmitters and receiver are very compact and light weight, probably due to the all-plastic material construction, you can barely feel the weight of this. I can’t speak to the long-term durability of this product as I have not had this long enough, but everything seems pretty durable from what I can tell. The LCD screen on the receiver and navigation buttons are helpful for setting up the microphone and changing settings as needed. Also, the decibel scale on the receiver LCD screen is useful to monitor your audio level to make sure you are recording at the proper level (not too loud nor too low in volume). All in all, I think this Comica Boom XU2 microphone package is a decent value for what you get in the box, which is having two wireless transmitters to simultaneous record audio to the one receiver. It’s even a better deal when Amazon sometimes offers a sale or coupon discount. Check out the attached short video review plus pictures of the product.

A Detailed Review and Product Comparison: Verdict - It's Pretty Nice!
For this review, I compared this mic to the cheaper FiFine (50$) and the more expensive, industry standard Shure (299). These are my findings.First Impressions:The Comica comes very well packaged and includes a nice carrying case. I was very impressed by the overall build quality and the number of included accessories. There seem to be audio enough cables to connect to just about anything you could imagine. I especially appreciate that they included an XLR adapter. What impressed me most is that they include a pretty nice “deadcat” That little guy will cut down on wind noise when filming outside and isn’t generally included. Really nice touch!Build Quality:The build quality of this product is really quite excellent for the price. The quality of the case, the antennas, the buttons and the digital display are all excellent.Audio Quality:I compared this microphone to an inexpensive 50 dollar lovelier and the 299 dollar Shure, which I consider to be the industry standard. In terms of audio quality, it’s leaps and bounds ahead of the less expensive FiFine. Compared to the Shure, it’s a bit muddy sounding (heavy in the 200hz area), particularly when speaking into it off axis, which is how you will be speaking into it if it’s worn on the shirt or lapel. With that said, it’s nothing that a little EQ won’t clean up. The more expensive Shure was brighter, with more clarity but not so much better that I would be willing to pay over than 100 dollars more. In terms of overall audio fidelity, it’s very good and I have no complaints.Who is it for?I can confidently recommend this microphone to anyone who needs a wireless lav for teaching, public speaking, interviews or YouTube videos. At 100 dollars less than the Shure, it’s a very appealing proposition. An excellent value overall.

Is the UHF version really worth it?
The quality of the audio is really good even without any post processing. It feels so professional adding this device to my production. With the 12 levels of volume and a port to monitor the audio while recording this 2 transmitter 1 receiver device gets the job done for my needs. The mic's digital transmission provides a level of clarity and detail that's truly impressive for a lav mic in this price range. The UHF signal provides long distance to the unit. But it says it can maintain signal without line of sight and I must say it did lose and reestablish it's signal several times when going behind the side of a brick home. The mic and receiver come fully charged and paired and are ready to go out of the box.

Saddened
I had high hopes for these kits. They failed me on the one video shoot I used them on. I know I will need to spend thousands for professional equipment, because these aren’t.

Super Tonqualität zum vernünftigen Preis
The media could not be loaded.

Everything that you need for great sound at a great price.
The media could not be loaded. Honestly, I am really quite surprised by the quality of the product. It has definitely become my go to microphone and will be used for most, if not all of my videos, where either I am speaking to the camera or I am interviewing another person.I knew from other reviews that they give you just about everything that you could possibly need in the pack, but it was great to find out that the stuff is all really high quality. It also came charged out of the pack and the charge has got me through several videos that I have already shot with it. So I'm pretty pleased with the battery life. It's especially cool that they have thought to give you a wind muffler for each transmitter and all the connections that you could possibly need. It's great that you can have two transmitters as well, as a common situation will have two people on screen.Watch my comparison video clip of the sound form the various mics! You can see that having the wireless mic close to your mouth really gives it a rich sound. The on camera mics are never the very highest quality and having a distance between yourself and the mic usually leads to a pretty hollow, echo-ey sound. But a lav mic can give you great quality in any environment. Please note that I have applied compression in my video editing software as that is what I would normally do!I've found this microphone very easy to use and I'm really pleased with the output of it. The menus etc seem obvious to me as to what they are intended to do, and I've never had any trouble paring the microphones or getting them to record into different channels etc.I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy one purchase and cover all of their microphone needs because this will work for so many set ups and situations. The only draw-back is that the transmitters and receivers are a little larger than other new wireless mics. However they are compact compared to the older wireless set-ups that you will still find at much higher prices. Check out the BOOMX-D2 if you need a more compact system.I would still recommend this though, because it communicates over UHF bandwidths it gives a very clean signal, with very little noise that you sometimes get with wireless transmission on the busy 2.4GHz channels! Also with this frequency you get a really reliable, long range signal, with no line of sight problems. Check out the clip where I test this and you can hear that I have no issues up to about 50 metres, (in my very unscientific test!)This is an incredibly high value for money product and I am really pleased with it!

Top fürs Geld.
Reichweite, sound Qualität, preisleistung, alles ziemlich spitze. Waren dann nicht manchmal die Probleme beim koppeln der Geräte. Passiert selten aber passiert eben und dann macht man 10 mal an und aus und probiert rum bis es geht. Deshalb 4 von 5

Premium Quality Wireless Mics.
The media could not be loaded. Guys,I've gone through a lot of mics right now. None have come close to the build quality and sound quality of these Comica Boom X U.Firstly, you get all the accessories you could ever need ! the mics, TRS/TRRS adapters for using this on your smartphone or camera. USB C cables for charging, lavalier mics. You can either use 2 microphones in stereo mode or use either of them in mono. The pairing process is very simple and works automatically out of the box. Each receivier has a microphone built in which means you don't really need to use the lavalier mics if you don't want to.Each receiver also has a mute button on it. These are brilliant for interviews or Youtube videos - especially ASMR or muk bang videos where high sensivity mics are needed. Each of the receivers and the transmitter all have a belt clip which can either be attached to clothes or a coldshoe mount. The audio quality is brilliant as you would expect. My only issue with them comes with the distance of the wireless signal. I feel that if there is not a direct line of sight, the signal can get a bit choppy - at distances well over 20 meters.Honestly, this is the creme de la creme when it comes to wireless mics, but that asking price is VERY steep !!
