I recently wrapped up a major project and this magnetic nail sweeper was an absolute lifesaver! After finishing up a construction job, I needed a fast and reliable way to clear the worksite of metal debris, especially nails and screws. This tool worked like a charm! The magnet is powerful, easily picking up even the smallest pieces of metal in a single pass. I didn’t have to worry about missing nails, which could’ve caused damage or injury. The handle is adjustable, which made it comfortable to use for long periods, and it’s lightweight, so I could maneuver it easily around tight spaces. Cleanup was incredibly simple too—just release the magnet and the debris falls right into the trash. What would have taken hours of manual sweeping only took minutes with this tool. This has been a surprisingly necessary tool for the homestead. It is lightweight but very effective. Our homestead is located on an old home place and apparently every time it rains, a new crop of rusty nails rises to the top of the ground. When you drag it across the driveway, you can hear little pings of the metal hitting the magnet. When you're ready to clean it, you pull the handle and it releases the magnet and all of the debris comes off very easily. It's a great and handy tool.

I bought this product 3 years ago to pick up metal, like bottle caps, on the beaches in Grenada in the Caribbean. The product worked well but was a little too low for the uneven surface around the beaches and the wheels were a little too narrow to push or pull on the sand. BTW Pulling is much easier on the sand. So I put new wheels, a bit larger in diameter and I double them. I get pretty much the same power to pick up the metal and the wheels do not sink in the sand as much. When the bottle cap is encrusted in the grass, I just give it a twist my the plastic spade. Which I had to do anyway even before I replaced the wheels.

Works great! Used it for roofing nails in grass and limestone gravel driveway. Loud PLINLK PLINK PLINK of nails getting tucked up. Handle makes it incredibly EASY to drop all the nail at once! Only complaint is long pushing handle held on by only one bolt, so it is not solid, floppy. It needs another mounting bolt above or below

This is AMAZING!!! Worth every penny! Easy to put together and start finding metal!! My daughter and son in law inherited a really old dilapidated home!! The yard was full of nails screws etc . I bought this for them hoping it would assist in clearing the rather large yard! Omg, it picked up so much metal!!! One of the best finds on amazon! So glad they will be able to clean up the yard quicker than picking. Them up one nail/ screw at a time now!

The adjustable wheels on the magnet make it ideal for any worksite. The magnet does a great job of pulling nails etc. from within the grass or gravel driveway and by setting the wheel height it makes for easy use no matter what you are trying to clear. The only thing I would add to the tool is a handle to be able to lift it without releasing the magnet. Pick it by the central handle and everything drops off. It takes some practice to life by point where the handle attaches rather than the very obvious handle that releases the collect material. I recommend it and would buy another.

Not difficult to put together at all. No directions, but hubby watched the video on Amazon listing to make sure wheels were on the correct side, and how to adjust the height, just to make sure. As he was putting it together, a few times his wrench got close and the magnet pulled it closer and picked it up so fast, it was crazy! Can’t wait to take it to a job site. We’ve been picking up nails and screws like crazy around a new build. We thought it would take us years to get them all up. Now, we have hope 🤪 It'll be more fun and less backbreaking for sure. The magnetic force seems (subjectively) to be less than the advertised 30 pounds. However, it does pick up nails and screws; I just don't know if it got all of them from my lawn (we were the bullseye of Hurricane Ian, and therefore have a lot of roofing and other debris to deal with). Here in SW Florida we have St. Augustine grass. That's a very rough and thick grass that survives in our sub-tropical climate. I therefore had to adjust the box to maximum height for the wheels to lift it above the grass. Otherwise, it's a matter of dragging the metal box across the lawn without benefit of wheels. Since magnetic force works by the law of inverse squares, that means that the magnetic force decreases quickly as distance from objects increases. The force would be stronger with the box riding closer to the objects being picked up. As noted by others, the construction is cheap. The plastic wheels rotate without bearings on a threaded hub; and thus will not last as long as one would wish. The handle attachment is also cheap. As another reviewer noted, with this type of lawn, it's necessary to walk slowly and listen for the "tick" sound as a metallic object is picked up. That's actually pretty easy to hear. You then stop right away and remove the object. Otherwise, the grass scrapes if off and the object is left behind. Over a driveway or other such hard surface, you could lower the box and simply wait to dump all the objects after you've completed your sweep. The "bottom line" of my opinion is that this works, albeit with more difficulty and probably less well than I had hoped.

Magnet works great! Size is perfect for finding nails/screws in the laneway or grass after shingling a roof or framing a new house.
