Kanu Surf Men's Monaco Swim Trunks (Regular & Extended Sizes)

Love my swim shorts lost my 1st pair in P-town so bought a second pair for Palm Springs, the color is great they wear vert well, color is great and no fading or anything from wash. If u need swim trunks these are great. Also as a big guy I can tell u great price and fit.

These swim shorts are perfect for a day at the beach or lake. They’re 100% polyester and dry off in a few minutes. The drawstring is good quality and instead of the cheap plastic tips they used a formed metal fastener. Makes for better quality and the string won’t fray out on you after multiple uses or times through the washing machine. On the inside they do have netting, if that’s not your thing you can always cut it out with a few snips. There are two pockets on the side that are good length. I hold an iPhone 7 without issue of it falling out, though larger phones could be an issue as there isn’t anything to keep the pocket closer. The back pocket does have velcro on the back to keep it closer.For the price, I love them and have used them in saltwater and chlorinated pools for a month with no issue of fading. The blue is still deep and the other colors pretty vibrant.If anything, they run slightly short. I got a medium and they sit about 2-3” above my knees. At 6’1” with 32” waste it’s nothing major, could always go up a size and the waist/elastic would still fit very comfortably.

Can only comment on sizing, which should be useful for some people. I have a 42-inch waist, so based on comments from a couple of other users, I decided to order the 2X (not 2XL). The waist is probably the ideal size. Two things that make me less happy: the inner liner, as usual in larger swim shorts, has not been made large enough to suit the obviously larger body of a man who is ordering this kind of huge swimwear. It is almost comical to contemplate the lack of sense that clothing manufacturers demonstrate these days. They put a small liner in a huge pair of trunks, so that the liner functions as a do-it-yourself home castrate kit, or enema kit. Also, related to sizing, if you are ordering these larger sizes, the trunks are going to come down to your knees at least, rather than to a reasonable level like you see in the photos. I haven't went on vacation yet, so I don't know how they will perform in the water.

These swim trunks are short enough that you can actually swim in them. They are not those long, baggy type of swim trunks that are so prevalent. I’m 5’9” and 152 pounds and the medium fits great in the waist but it’s a bit baggy in the seat although I do have a very skinny butt. The fabric feels good but it’s not too thin. The suit has a liner and I also appreciate the pockets and the classic styling. It’s very well worth the $19.

I'm sort of a giant and, believe me, that comes with good and bad. On the plus side, nobody ever picks a fight with me. On the other hand, some little twit stole my golden goose and cut down my beanstalk. I know, right? It also means that I can have a hard time finding clothes at the last minute, especially seasonal items like bathing suits. I thought I was done for when, two days before vacation, I realized that I'd lost two pair of trunks. Gone. Poof. But Amazon came to the rescue with next day shipping and this affordable, well-cut, true-to-size suit. It seems to be well made, is in that sweet spot where it's not too light but dries quickly, and comes in a great pattern. And did I mention the price? Saved my bacon at the beach. I'll likely buy a second pair.

I went with the X-Large, a day before I had my vacation planned to the beach. I'm 230, and 6'2, and I was on the brink of a large, or an XL. The material is great, the product looks amazing, and the XL fit my waist great, but the legs are super wide. If my thighs filled up in there, my waist would definitely NOT. I was looking for something above the knee, I hate the board short style below the knee, and I'm not keen on the what is essentially boxer brief look. If I could tuck about 3" off the legs for a "slim" fit, these would be amazing. I'm considering ordering a Large just to see if there is a difference. For the price, you can't beat the bathing suit, I got tons of compliments.

There was no sizing chart available, even on the Kanu website so I was very nervous. Some of the reviews said size 36 pants fit in a 2XL, so I ordered a 4XL since I am size 44. It was wayyy too big. Not just in the waist, but the legs were big enough that I could have smuggled two whole hams in each leg. The waist was at least close enough I would have considered keeping them, but the legs were so baggy they looked like old school Jincos.

I read the reviews to get my proper sizing and they fit as good as they would if I had tried them on in the store before buying. The outer material seems to dry much quicker than some of my previous shorts but the interior mesh stays damp a little longer than the exterior material but having a dryer exterior means a lot when you don't have cold, wet material getting caught in the breeze pressing it against your skin in sensitive places. The shorts look good and its nice to have options other than board shorts. The material does make some windbreaker like noise when walking and they aren't as comfortable as some swimming shorts I have worn but unless you plan on wearing them all day in a dry application (like going for a hike, shopping, something something) before swimming, you should probably make better life choices and pick a more appropriate pair of shorts. But if you want a good pair of swimming shorts that are actually shorts and not short pants, these are pretty good so far. I have only worn them a couple times so I don't have any feedback on durability yet as some have mentioned but I will update if they fall apart prematurely.

Es un traje de baño bastante cómodo, con un buen diseño y muchos colores disponibles, la tela es muy cómoda y después de usarlo un día entero no tuve ningun tipo de problema con él. Cuenta con bolsa a cada lado y una trasera con un botón por si quieres guardar algo que se te pudiera caer, ademas de una pequeña bolsita interna en la que puedes guardar llaves o algo de ese tamaño, en mi experiencia me metí al mar con un billete en esa bolsita y aunque nade lo único malo que le paso al billete es que se mojo, por lo que considero que es una bolsita muy practica para cargar pequeñas cosas de valor.En cuanto a la talla, es un short un poco ajustado sin embargo no esta totalmente pegado a la pierna, solo un poco ajustado a comparación de la mayoría de trajes de baño que existen, por lo que podría haber personas que no les guste el estilo de este short, por lo mismo es corto.Soy una persona alta y delgada normalmente uso pantalones de talla 32 en cintura, estos trajes de baño en talla mediana me quedaron perfectos, llegan hasta aproximadamente 10 cm arriba de las rodillas, por lo que si quieres que te queden un poco mas abajo de ahí y no tan ajustados podrías pedir una talla extra y ajustarlo sin problemas con las cintas del traje que son muy buenas.

I love these shorts overall but don't like the drawstring design. I was looking for shorts that have a lot of room/ease of movement in the groin area for water activities like scuba, kayaking, swimming, snorkel, etc. and these are very comfortable to sit and move in. Unfortunately the design of the eyelets for the drawstring limit how tight you can make the waist so I have to take the string out of the loops and just use it as a regular drawstring. Its not that big of an inconvenience and they now are tight enough to swim without worry of falling off, I just hate how all new swim trunks have this flawed design with the 4 eyelets, when a simple drawstring works perfect. If they had the simple drawstring I would give 5/5.

Muy cómodo, buenos materiales. Trae malla interior con resorte. Al principio se siente un poco apretada pero ya usándolos ni lo notas. Solo es la puesta inicial.Trae bolsa trasera con botón. No trae bragueta.Compre talla chica y me quedo bastante bien. Normalmente uso 28-29.El corte es mediano, no es largo como short de surf ni corto como los clásicos. Esta bastante bien.

Lo compre en $140 mnx me gustó mucho. La tela es gruesa y un poco ruidosa al caminar pero por el precio es una ganga. Se aprecia la tela de buena calidad. Son cortos. Soy talla 30 y la talla Chica me vino perfecta.

A pesar de no conocer la marca, me anime a comprar el traje de baño para ir a la playa. Resulto bastante bien, tiene una malla interna que lo hace muy cómodo y la tela es buena, seca bastante rápido. por el precio es una magnifica opción

Pretty good shorts for the price. With the trend to shorter and tighter I would have preferred them a little less baggy. I fairly slender size 30 at 165 lbs and the 30 still seems a little baggy for my tastes. But then again I like skinny jeans. They ain't gonna fit you like a GQ magazine board short ;)

Good trunks, just make sure you order large. I'm comfortable in a US/CAN 3x but I ordered 5x here and they fit great. Material is nice and thick and the stitching is great. Very robust set of swim trunks.

El diseño es muy bonito. El producto se ve y se siente de calidad y la medida es exacta, como se anuncia. El único pero que le pongo es que la tela tarda un poco más que otros en secarse.

Nice shorts. Ordered a size down on this one as these tend to be oversized. In this case they fit OK but tight around my fat thighs. So if you’re and XL, on this one, order the XL. Has a full drawstring.

Seca súper rápido además de que trae las bolsas con el tamaño perfecto. Lo puedes traer abajo de una bermuda o pantalones sin sentirte incómodo. La talla me quedo perfecta ya que lo pedí en talla chica y yo soy por lo regular 29 o 30. De lo largo está perfecto!

La tela y el corte es lo que esperaba. La talla es congruente y se ajusta bien al cuerpo. Para el precio que cuesta, excede el valor que ofrece.

My husband is 6 feet tall and weight 230 lbs. I bought 2X and it fits perfectly. The lenght is perfect, it goes to the mid thigh.

Es un traje de baño de muy buena calidad, sobre todo si tomas en cuenta la relación valor/precio. Es totalmente recomendable. La talla es como se esperaba.
