Renu works okay. It did not remove all of the bug feces that leaves little black dots all over my beige siding. It also only removed some of the chalky residue I was hoping to eliminate. I also found that home made cleaner made from recipes online worked way better at removing green algae growth. It took me most of a day to scrub down my house and garage with a bucket and large wash brush.

I used this product on my aluminum, white gutters in the spring of 2021. It worked quite well. Though you do have to scrub it for it to clean well. At that point the gutters were 20 years old. I had only power washed them before. I just bought another gallon. 5 years is a long time for the north and south side of a house in the north east. Update. I used 2/3 of a gallon as directed on my 60 bilevel home. Its works amazingly! I clean the exterior on average once a year. This product not only does a great job cleaning. But it cut the job time by a third! Somethings are just worth it. This product is one of those things. I highly recommend.

Works well with oxidation stains on vinyl siding

Our garage is on the south side of our house. Although we clean it each year we were never able to get the chalky grit off of it. We purchased this cleaner and scrubbed it with a brush and used only a hose to rinse it off. Amazing!! You can no longer see where the shutters were that we didn’t want to put back up because we bought metal awnings to put up instead. I can’t say enough good things about this cleaner. Yes you do have to put a little elbow grease into it but the results are amazing

I purchased this product to remove oxidation on vinyl siding as indicated in the product description. However, after the initial use I found it not to be performing as indicated. I moved on to an area that had not been treated yet to make a determination if it was doing anything at all. I placed a piece of painters tape over the untreated vinyl siding and proceeded to apply the diluted cleaner as indicated on the instructions. After letting it set for the appropriate amount of time and a light brush scrub I rinsed it off and remove the tape and found that there was no difference in the treated and untreated finish of the vinyl siding. I let this area dry off, reapplied the tape, and tried using the product full strength in the same manner. After rinsing I removed the tape and again found no difference. This product may work okay on other applications, but it is not an appropriate solution for removing oxidation on vinyl siding. I would not recommend purchasing it for that purpose.
