My Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X started to behave poorly, and then failed altogether. It also emitted a terrible high-pitched noise. Although I was resigned to replacing this otherwise excellent router, I thought I should first see if it was the external power supply that created the problem, so I ordered this one. With the new power supply, the router's whining was silenced. I did a full factory reset and restored from the backup, and now I have a quiet and more importantly properly functioning router.

Works perfectly for a Ubiquiti Erlite which experienced a power surge. The adapter took the hit so I'm happy that it only costs a few dollars instead of having to buy a whole new Erlite just for the power adapter. We gave the customer an adapter out of one of our stock Erlite boxes and when this one came in, we tested it and it worked like a charm, thus we get to keep and sell the Erlite instead of using it as a paperweight or charging the customer for a new one.

This power supply is 12V 1A - it seems to purposely not list the amperage and in the images of the device that info is covered up by the cord...how strange.

The camera stopped working after a month. The screen blinked and just went black. The camera is getting recognized by the computer but it is black screen. Please don't waste your money on this item.

Removed the bad adapter for the ERLite-3. Plugged in the UpBright adapter and restarted the router and all was good. I have also used this same adapter for the Ubiquiti USG router without issue.
