Suede & Nubuck Cleaner Kit, 8 oz, 100% Hog Hair Brush & Eraser

I finally got around to doing something about restoring the look of my GH Bass Nubuck boat shoes. This product with the conditioner restored the look of the shoes so close to when I bought it new (see the before and after photos). I like that it has everything required to clean the shoe and restore and it cleans great. There is enough quantity in the bottle for many more cleaning and there are clear instructions on the bottle. The include brush and cleaning clothe is a welcomed bonus. I recommend this product for anyone who wants to maintain the look of Nubuck and Suede shoes

This product really works and directions are easy to follow. My nephew stepped in ranch and then of course stepped right on my brand new Uggs that I had previously treated with waterproof spray TWICE. We ran out of our favorite “Crep” spray and only had “Superior Proofer” from Shoe Palace (to be fair, it was an old bottle). Waited a few days for the ranch stain to dry, brushed it out with the brush provided and then used the cleaning kit as directed. A few drops of the cleaning solution really went a long way and was able to get this stubborn stain out. I also appreciate that the cleaning solution was packaged in plastic with a separate lid to prevent spilling in the box.

I used this for the knee patches on my saddle, which were in horrible shape, along with suede conditioner from the same brand. After a while of use, I can say it helped repair and reactivate the suede, but it didn't provide lasting protection. Also, it takes a learning curve to learn how to get the cleaner to foam a little bit. I believe this product should be used more to care for your suede regularly than revitalize it. I'm not a big fan of the scent, but at least it isn't super strong and doesn't usually last. And the horses don't seem to mind it at all, which is always a win. This cleaner also lasts fairly long and is a good size for the price. The brush and eraser are also good quality and still work after about a year. I would definitely buy this again if I needed to!!!

This will be rather a long review, for the younger generation who seems to lack patience for anything much in life this days buy this product and ignore negative reviews. I am 70 years old and have been using suede and nubuck all my life weather in shoes, jackets, couches or other furniture. I know a thing or two about these things and how to clean and maintain them properly to extend their life. First you need a high quality brush ( I prefer a hog hair brush) an eraser ( for more stubborn stains) and also a high quality cleaner to create a good amount of leather, which is what actually cleans the suede deep down. This kit comes with essential tools you need to clean your suede and nubuck . After cleaning you also need to apply a protection ( suede repellent- conditioner) this particular kit doesn’t feature a protective product, but the brand does offer one for purchase as a separate item. I have cleaned a few things at home with this product already, starting from my go- to suede summer shoes and wife’s purse. Both of the items are at least 5 years old and I have been keeping them in good condition. However there had some stains from our latest safari. First I cleaned them with a brush, just to get the dust off and used eraser on certain areas of the shoes that has some deeper stains. I brushed items again and finally applied the solution using the brush ( with a tiny bit of water) To be honest I am quite thrilled with the result. Not only were they cleaned and free of stains, but they looked vivid and really attractive. My wife is happy with this product which makes me happy too. Care$Cool seems to care actually about their products and customers, and I will certainly be ordering other items from their extensive range.

Package arrived not damaged. Smaller size than I expected. Followed label instructions. Works great. I used on my Patricia Nash black leather shoulder bag (6 years old). I was impressed on how new it looked after I used Care and Cool.

This refreshed the swede and cleaned up light signs of wear but did not remove any scuff marks. The instructions didn't say when or how to use the rubber piece. I tried using it over the scuff marks, but it didn't do anything.

I used it and it took a while to cleanse. But eventually it cleaned the brass

I did not achieve the intended purpose of this purchase. The stains remain intact, and the product made no noticeable difference compared to before applying the solution. I do not believe it is worth the money, as it failed to accomplish its purpose and every stain remained unchanged.

Very effective suede and nubuck cleaner, and in this format seems to be more economical than the foam version which is significantly diluted by containing water already. It only seems to be available to ship from the US so it will take a week from order to show up and tracking is inaccurate and spasmodic. I tested this on a pair of pale cream nubuck preloved boots I purchased online but were badly stained and marked. After a good clean of the boots and laces they have been rescued. Finished them off with conditioner spray from the same maker which should reduce the chance of marks and stains again. Pleased with the result.

The kit did what it is made for.

My son had a new pair of Boston’s & caused a stain on one. Used this kit to clean, and it worked as advertised. His Bostons look brand new. Suede kept its mat and stain is gone.
