Lichtenberg Alison Lace Balloon Shade 58" W X 64" L, Ivory with Attached Valance

Talk about cheap and cheaply made. The salvage edge of the valance is on the front and no way to flip it. There is actually a piece of the lace on the bottom that shows that was cut straight across and hangs down, I had to use fabric glue to make it blend in..I am constantly having to clip loose threads that appear out of no where. Hate to think whats going to happen the first time they are washed, it will have to be by hand because I think a washer on the gentlest cycle will destroy them..Dont waste your money. spend a little more on something that wont fall apart.

These are sturdy lace curtains with a build-in valance. The weave is open lace and is very pretty. The cost savings to have the valance built into the curtain is a plus. You don't need to buy the valance separately and you don't need a second rod to hang the valance. The rings that gather the fabric together on the balloon shade are rather delicate, so the buyer should take care to handle them carefully so they don't break, especially if you don't have spare replacement rings lying around at home. All in all a good value for the price.

This curtain is not made to adjust between up and down, you must choose a position and then it is set. Plastic rings on the back to connect broke on first try, Very Cheap Hardware, I had to get plastic twist ties to connect (No Strings), so have them handy. You could string it yourself but that defeats the purpose of buying instead of making it yourself. Once up it looks very nice.

Honestly the curtains themselves are nice BUT I was sent white , I ordered ivory! I can't use them in white so I wasted my money.

I actually use this for a curtain on my front door instead of a plain sheer panel. I get lots of compliments since it sort of has an old world charm to it.
