I love this tamping mat. It’s so cute and works really well in my space. It’s the perfect size and even works with my bumpy counter edge. It’s a great thickness and doesn’t hurt my portafiller nor my counter. Easy to clean too, just rinse it under some water with some soap and let it air dry. Looks brand new and I use it everyday!

You can’t make great tasting espresso without this pad. Protects your counter. Enables you to distribute your beans in the portafilter. Easy to wash. Plus makes you look like a Pro. The quality is excellent at an excellent price. Buy it you’ll be glad you did. I am.

This sounds like a good idea but I am still deciding. The mat works well for tamping down the coffee and I like that our tamper/coffee polisher has a secure place to sit. The mat does not move. However, now instead of having stray coffee grounds end up on the counter they end up on the floor. I hoped they might stay on the mat. To be fair the mat never did claim to reduce mess, I was just hoping it would!

I just received this product and out of the box it fit the space well. The edge of the mat drops down over the edge of the coffee cart, but does not block the drawer. Seems sturdy through the first use, did not slip and the portafilter fit perfectly.

Nothing could go wrong, it's your run-of-the-mill tamping mat. Easy to clean, easy to tamp with.

This thing is great! doesn't take up a lot of space, gives me a solid place to tamp down my portafilter grounds, and keeps all the messy grounds in one spot versus all over the counter. When I'm done, I simply wash it off and put on dish strainer to dry. Does what its designed to do!

Love this product, stays on, firm and helps protect my granite counter, also helps keep the mess in a single place, a must for every person who grinds their own espresso beans at home!

Neat little tamper mat. Doesn't take much space, protects the benchtop, easy to clean. Don't really use the filter holder position, but might be handy for others.
