Works as described
I use this with my portable 18.5” 4K and 16” 2K monitors. It really gives it a nice cleaner look by making it easier to hide the wires.

2 adapters side by side might not fit without modification, but you can remove the case
I was looking for a mini-hdmi to mini-hdmi 180 degree adaptor when I found this. While not exactly what I was looking for this mostly works for my needs. I specifically was looking for a mini-hdmi version of this because on my portable monitor the two mini-hdmi connections are side by side. There is not sufficient room to use two of these adaptors next to each other as is. However, unlike a lot of products out there this is not a molded plastic. There is a proper circuit board inside the plastic case. It is possible to pry off the back cover and extract the circuit board without damage. To pry off the case work something under the panel from either side (not the top or bottom) then you will have to use force until you can break the plastic pins at the top an bottom on the inside. Once you have the little back panel off you can easily slide out the board with the two sockets attached, it is not glued in. Without the bulky case it is possible to fit two of these side by side in a very tight space. This will probably work for most portable monitors where the mini hdmi inputs are very near to other sockets.

Great cable de-clutterer!
Perfect for connecting a small mobile monitor so the hdmi cable doesn't stick out the side. With the adapter, the cable can be routed behind.

Worked great until it didn't
Worked great for about 10 months straight, then on occasion would not send a signal. A few weeks ago it just went out and my hdmi cable started to build up heat (yes I tried different cables)... which I mean it is $8 USD, so not bad for 10 months?I bought a replacement from another company which was way worse and would not let my computer boot past BIOS. Avoid KADO 180 Degree Mini HDMI to HDMI.

compatibility with device is critical
This part is NOT compatible with my portable monitor, ViewSonic VG1655. Be sure to doublecheck the geometry of your portable monitor to make sure this item will work with your peripheral device.
