Will this keep "house" flies away? I'm plagued by flies when I go for walks.

If that's a typo and you mean horse flies then yes, if you mean those annoying flies that fly round your head and are just a nuisance then no. Either Citronella, tea tree, eucalyptus or lemongrass oil dabbed on neck and wrist should help keep them pesky buggers away. But would still use repellant to protect against biting insects. It's what I use and do.. I spend alot of time around cattle... And they're wick with em this time of year.

Has anyone used this spray to keep the bed bugs away?As protection when travelling?

I was using only for mosquito's and it's working. No idea about bed bugs, always you can try, nothing to lose.

Is this repellent effective againts ticks?

Effective against all biting insects including ticks. A viable alternative to deet based repellants. Should be applied outside as vapour can damage nasal membranes. Worked for me in the tropics.

Will this work at all ok surfaces
