I received this within a week ago and I'm really pleased! I've had such trouble swallowing the capsules but had never seen the liquid in any store. When I saw it in my Amazon search for capsule reorder I opted for this. What a relief! It delivers more in one daily teaspoon than the two large capsules and it's obviously so much easier to take. Now, it is fish oil, but the taste is almost as promised, mild lemony. For me, I saw right away I need to take it with food because the oil goes directly to my stomach without the delay the capsules provide. I can tell I've taken it, but so far I've had no real negative reaction and will continue to tweak exactly when to take it. I have not calculated a price comparison, but this liquid says it's only 24 servings (1 tsp daily) and I know the capsules have to be less expensive, but I haven't bothered yet as it's so nice not to work at choking on the capsule! Don't get me wrong, if I could easily take the capsules I would continue with them, but I can't and I need fish oil supplements. Been using this brand for years and am confident of the quality, etc. If the liquid starts to bother me or the price gets out of reach, I'll add a comment, but for now, it's great for me!

Update: 1/29/23 After three months on this product, my overall cholesterol is down from 225 to 198, and HDL and LDL are both moving in the right direction. Great product!! I was looking for an Omega 3 supplement that offers a high amount of EPA and this is it! One teaspoon contains 1460 mgs, which makes it one of the highest concentrations of the brands I researched. It tastes like fish oil, but it IS fish oil, so I'm not too bothered about that. Besides, with the tiny one teaspoon dose taken with food, I've never had a fishy burp. I highly recommend this prpduct. Time will tell if it has lowered my cholesterol, but I'm pleased for now. I'll update this review when my doc takes new labs to measure my progress.

I have been taking Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega for a little over a year to improve/stabilize my mood. It is the highest quality fish oil I have found thus far and I did a tremendous amount of research on the subject. I was very concerned about contaminents like mercury and PCBs. This is one of two companies that I found with very high scores for safety and a record of rigorous 3rd party screening. I have been very impressed with the product overall and I highly recommend it. The liquid contains more DHA and EPA per dose than the pills which is why I chose it, I have tried both but it got too expensive with the pills as I take about 3-4 grams a day. The oil does have a slight fishy taste but it is definitely palatable, kind of like taking a shot of olive oil with a hint of fish. I have never had "fish burps" after consuming this product (which indicates that the oil has turned rancid). I gave it 4 stars because it is rather expensive but ultimately I feel it is worth the cost because of the quality and effectiveness.

As a family we began using it in small dosis. I recommend this Omega 3 because my family love the taste, specifically lemon taste, the texture is good for Omega 3 and my son is having issues with his digestion and this is the best option for absorption. I asked my doctor when and how to start the dosis to have a better results

High quality fish oil but very pricey.

I run a lot so for longevity, I consume a teaspoon of this oil regularly. So far, I have experienced no muscle pains etc. It is not scientific but I do believe it helps me to stay healthy. Follow these steps instead so avoid any unpleasant smell while consuming it:- 1). Slice an orange into 4 quadrants. 2). Pour Nordic Fish Oil a teaspoon full. 3). Hold your breath. 4). Consume the oil. 5). Hold your breath. 6). Quickly eat at least two halves of the orange. 7). No stickiness observe.

Great quality from small fish. I take this straight and it tastes absolutely fine.
