Beautiful but wash your walls well before hanging!
I think I purchased every faux grasscloth on Amazon for my living room. I ended up going with this product in Whisper Blue as the other colors didn’t match. The other colors are lovely, but slightly darker than how they showed on my screen and the texture and weight make it hard to tell it’s not real grasscloth. I hope they will keep making more colors! Hanging it was not difficult, the pattern is forgiving and doesn’t have to be lined up exactly, though it does have a repeat like regular wallpaper (unlike real grasscloth ) so you can line it up if you want to; it doesn’t stick to itself like cheaper brands. BUT it’s REALLY important to wash your walls and your hands before hanging. I washed my walls, applied it, it started falling, I pulled it down, washed the walls a second time and trimmed the ends where I’d touched it, then re-hung it and it’s stayed up beautifully since.

Great Wallpaper
From someone who’s pretty experienced with wall coverings, including natural grasscloth, I’d recommend this dupe wallpaper. It’s thick, sticks very well and the color is exactly as pictured. I placed two separate orders and the color matched perfectly! But I do have some tips that made the process go smooth over walls that have lot of bums and prior terrible paint jobs that I didn’t want to bother fixing: 1. Cut the wall paper into random sized pieces and turn some upside down for more variation. Not only it will look more natural, as natural grasscloth doesn’t have patterns, but your brain will appreciate it! Any wall defects, tone differences and slight inclination will be less obvious. The line up will be easier too and there’ll be less stretching and pulling, which messes up the glue. 2. Get the rubber roller! It might seem unnecessary but, trust me, your hand doesn’t do a very good job at helping the wallpaper adhere and smoothing out the edges. It’s a huge difference! 3. For flat and chalk paint, paint prep cleaner will help with adherence. Boy’s room in progress…

*UPDATED* from previous 5-star review!
EDIT #2: Alright guys, I’ve officially had it with this wallpaper so demoting my review to 1-star. Takes *a lot* for me to leave a 1-star review. Initially, I posted 5 stars after using this in our last house in green years ago, then downgraded to 2 stars recently after using it in our bar at our new house. I wound up using wallpaper adhesive to reapply the fallen areas and corners. Weeks later, it’s falling down all over again. Got back up on a ladder and reapplied. To my shock, I came home days later to fallen wallpaper. It felt like a sick joke. Had my husband reapply paste, and same thing. Since I clearly didn’t utilize the adage of “insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results” I stupidly then decided to pay our handyman $200 to apply an *additional* coat of wallpaper paste, to no avail days later…still coming down from the walls in all corners and bubbling off the walls in the center. What in the actual %#*€?!…omg it’s like this stuff has a death wish to go into the trash, which is exactly where it’ll be going. This is the most ruthless, savage wallpaper I’ve ever battled with. I absolutely love everything about this wallpaper too, the color, the texture, how it matches with all my colors, but the love is unrequited. RIP wallpaper; we had quite the duel but you won the battle this time, and I’m determined to find your replacement! EDIT #1: I’m updating a review I left years ago after using the green version of this wallpaper, which was great at the time and stayed put on our textured walls at our old home. We recently moved and fortunately, now have smooth walls throughout so thought the light denim blue color would work great as an accent wall behind a pass through bar to compliment navy cabinets. I put up a portion of this stuff last night. Still as easy to work with in terms of repositioning and matching up the pattern. It has a beautiful appearance with light texturing and is a solid faux Grasscloth option. It appeared smooth on seemed to adhere well after applying last night with. On feel using my fingers to test, it seemed to have decent adhesive, but not the case on my walls. I came home from work to find a crinkled mess of paper that fell down from the walls today. In addition, the portion that remains on the wall has developed large bubbles which were not there when I applied yesterday, likely from the adhesive failing in those areas too. I used a smoothing tool and pressure with it to and it looked perfect yesterday night. While this is easily solved by spraying adhesive before application it defeats the purpose of removable peel and stick option and will make it much harder to remove down the line. I deliberately chose peel and stick as I planned to likely change this in the near future to a cool metallic tile backsplash once I find the design I want, but obviously needing to spray adhesive on the entire wall will make it likely for the walls to sustain damage when removing, which I wanted to avoid to begin with - I would’ve purchased genuine unpasted grasscloth had I of known I’d need adhesive spray to get this to stay put . Also, because it’s a crinkled mess and there’s bubbles I will have to scrap the entire portion I already did, which required a lot of time for precise cuts around the window. Very frustrating. Again, I applied this to smooth and clean walls. Makes me question if this works better with textured walls because it may create more of a “grip” to avoid it slipping off the smooth walls. I remember in the old house, it stayed in place for years (I used the light green, dark green, wheat, as well as this same color in various rooms and it stayed put throughout each room for the nearly 3 years we lived there) - you could subtly see the textured walls in certain lighting at the old house but you likely wouldn’t have known unless I pointed it out. It worked great years ago but today, not so much on our smooth walls. Thus, it may also be a quality issue. I would look elsewhere for peel and stick grasscloth options to avoid your hard work and time being wasted if you experience a similar issue. I left the pictures up from my initial review of the green color in our old home so you can see how it looks over textured walls, but do not quote me that the quality is the same currently, given the issues I experienced at our new home with smooth walls. Uploaded a photo of the blue version I just applied last night to demonstrate the unexpected crinkled mess I came home to today. Buy at your own risk.

Before and after
I put this wallpaper on a bookcase and it looks fantastic. The color is perfect and it looks very much like real grass cloth. It was easy to put up, but I did have some problems with adhesion. The morning after installing it some very large bubbles appeared. I pulled that section up and sprayed some spray adhesive. It solved the problem.

Beautiful bad doesn't adhere for long. Buy the real thing
This wallpaper was pretty easy to apply, however it is not holding up very well. I looked up against my crown molding after just two weeks and it is already peeling away from the wall. The color and design and the way it looks is so beautiful but the adhesion is bad quality. We even used a binding primer before hanging the wallpaper as we saw other reviews on the peeling. I won't use peel & stick again. It is too pricey for what it's worth.

Started with one room and bought more!
Fantastic wallpaper! Slight texture and the look is beautiful! This is the Whisper Blue color. The only way to improve this is to have a traditional wallpaper option rather than peel and stick (definitely a learning curve with peel and stick)

Pretty, But Poor
This receives 2 stars because it's really beautiful and thick with a nice texture and look. I really love the color and couldn't find any other wallpaper in this color. It's not very sticky, which makes it very easy to install and even reposition if necessary. The problem with that is it literally doesn't stay up. You might as well use wallpaper glue with it from the get to, because you're gonna be going back and flying it in once it starts to peel. I used it in our camper and it was peeling off literally days after I'd installed it. I used mod lodge to get it to last the season, but after the winter I went into the camper to find all of my wallpaper falling off the walls. I tried to reorder it so I can glue it on, but it's been a month and it still hasn't even shipped yet. That's pretty terrible. I'm thinking even though I love the look of this I'm gonna have to find something else.

Perfect wall covering with style and pizazz
This was easily the quickest revamp, literally took one person 4hrs for wall included removing curtains and replacing. The matt paper is a winner and the dark blue for me really made our room pop. The art for this great job was to peel back an arm length of paper and place it with a little overhang to the ceiling. I used a small electronic light beam level to ensure placed straight then an old towel to run over paper to press it down. Once you reach next section, pull backing another arm’s length, use towel or cloth to run over it pressing to wall. Its wise to overlay the paper 1/2 inch as if you match it edge to edge it can slight shrink back and leave a gap. Once you reached the board at the bottom use fingers to press into top edge of board. Use stanley knife to cut excess at bottom and excess at top. Finally i cut a strip of double edge tape, peel back section of paper near the ceiling and run the tape near the top, replacing paper back into position. You are guaranteed an excellent finish and paper will not come down. The blue does stain fingers but easily washes off and there is a little odour but that goes within a few days. We did the two walls opposite each other so room is not dark - the finish is like a chic hotel

Gorgeous - high end polish
Easy to install and looks great. Keep in mind that real grass cloth also shows the seams so if that bothers you, maybe select something different. This is faux grasscloth but passes very well. Really gave the room a high end polish.

Great quality however hard to line up pattern
Color is great and quality is awesome. It does have somewhat of a faint pattern to it which made it hard to line up and wasn’t expected

Excellent peel and stick
This peel and stick grasscloth is excellent quality . Went on easy peasy and I experienced no peeling or tearing after installing. You don’t need to line anything up so for a peel and stick it makes installing it that much easier. Because it’s a grasscloth pattern the look and texture is subtle and the lines look intentional. I just love the colour and texture! So forgiving 👌🏽 . I would defiantly buy this product again.

Does not stick !
The product does not stay on the wall. It fell just a few days later. I’ve requested refund. Terrible

Disappointing… Looked great at first, then peeled off
The colour and texture looked beautiful when first installed, but the wallpaper started peeling off the wall within a short time, even after smoothing it properly and applying it to a clean, flat surface. It would not stay adhered, especially along the top and corners. I’ve used peel-and-stick wallpaper before without any issues, so this was unexpected. Unfortunately, I had to remove it because it just wouldn’t stay on the wall.
