Quality reel, I would say it is a good as the major name brands with a cheaper price

I really like this reel. I did return it because I ordered the right hand retrieve when I should have got left hand retrieve. I liked it so much that I ordered 2 new left hand retrieve. One 5:4 one 7:2. The brake system is great. Had a few back lashes but they came right out by pulling out some line. I prefer this reel over the abu Garcia revo I purchased earlier this year

SMOOTH. WORTH EVERY DIME

So far so good. Reels and casts smoothly. The braking system works well when properly set. I can huck a lure HARD and not even thumb the spool and not get any backlash. The only backlash seems to occur on a bad cast or short cast. Breaking system magnets seem only effective on longer casts. I like the brakes set to about 4/10- that's been enough for me flicking plastics
