Worth it!
The pins didn’t perfectly match much, but nothing a bit of shaving couldn’t fix. Works perfectly now and feels good to hold!

It’s useless!!!
Buying this was a waste of money as it’s impossible to find anyone to cut the key. It’s useless!!!

excellent quality at a great value
In my opinion this key fob meets or exceeds OEM.

Fits 2006 beetle key fob
Almost identical to the original, understandably doesn’t have the “VW” logo. The only flaw with this key fob is that the push button that it comes with is a bit smaller than OEM. If you try to use the same key to avoid getting a new key cut than beware the OEM key fob parts will have to be used, BUT if you’re just going to use the new key and get it cut then you will have no problem !

There are no electronics in this key
It seems well made but I never saw mention that it has no electronic components waste of money for me

Great shell, be careful with the rfid chip though
This shell is fantastic, the molding is great, the buttons worked. I was just a doof and broke the rfid chip getting it out of the old key shell, nothing that relates entirely to this though

Very Good Product at GREAT price.
Was a little difficult to migrate key, chip and circuit board to new housing, but was completed inside of 10 minutes. Great Product!

circuit board was a tight fit, but all worked in the end
My original remote buttons had failed to work properly, and the part of thefob which allowed it to be put on a keyring had broken off. I was able to transplantall the parts into this new shell, and everything worked. I did find the posts which fitinto locating holes on the circuit board weren't in exactly the right place, but somejudicious angling and pushing got everything to seat, and the result was a workingdoor remote!
