Are the clubs foam? Can I hit hard balls? ( real golf balls)

They are plastic. Real golf balls may break them if hit too hard

How durable are the clubs? I want to use these for school kids year after year. Will they last? Does anyone know what the warranty of the set is?

Mine have been fine so far (with SUPERVISED use) by pre-k to 5th graders at multi-cultural night plus several months of use by kindergarten kids. (Used for PUTTING only, no winding up or taking a big swing at the ball....) They're decently made, but durability will probably depend on the kids who are using them/level of supervision. Don't know about the warranty.

Can these be used for left and right handed putting?

They are designed for right-handed use. They can be used left-handed, but it's not ideal. When lefties flip the club around, they are not hitting with a completely flat SOLID surface (there are some grooves and spaces within the plastic outline.) Not a big issue for my kindergarten kids, but it might make a difference for you. Good luck!
