Nice sight, IF it fits the gun
This is the third SOLOFISH product I have tested. Like the first two, This is a solid product for an exceptional price. If it fits you gun, don't hesitate to buy it. However, be aware that it will never be stable or secure on a Pic rail with only one slot. With one slot attachment, it will wobble and loosen - don't even think about maintaining zero! Fortunately, SOLOFISH provides a second screw It takes more real estate than the diagrams suggest, so you need a 4" barrel with a multi-slot rails, such as a serve Springfield XD.Out of 5 guns I had on hand for testing, only one fit the sight - but the sight worked well there! To bad, I thought it would be a good match for a Kel-Tec P17, but it was too big to fit.

I use this as a pointer not a gun sight
(1) Purpose of purchaseI got this unit for the laser, but not to use as a gun laser sight. So this review is mainly of the laser feature without reference to how it fares on a firearm.I use lasers to overcome my tendency to procrastinate. Shining a laser beam on objects and even words on a page assists me in focusing my attention on my next task, where I need to go, and the words I read. A laser, even a Class IIIa laser such as this, is too powerful to utilize this way out of the box, and I apply a variety of techniques, including covering the laser with polarized film, to reduce its effective output.(2) Size and shapeI wanted add a laser to my productivity toolbox that was compact to complement the laser I had been using which is attached to a relatively bulky infrared thermometer "gun." This new unit is light and easy to grip between the forefinger and thumb.(3) The buttonsThe unit has two on/off buttons. These switches are located on both sides of the unit towards the back. It's a natural motion to grasp the unit with a forefinger on one button and the cooresponding thumb on the other. The buttons are stiff enough that picking up the unit does not inadvertently activate it; yet soft enough that very little pressure is needed to toggle them (only one has to be clicked, although both can be pushed simultaneously ). There is a slight amount of haptic feedback to let the user know they've successfully pressed a button.(4) ChargerThe unit came partially charged. I connected the unit to the charger and it charged up fully, the charging light changing color to indicate this. A major reason for the purchase was for the rechargeable battery.

Not Enough Adjustment in Laser Alignment. Used on Glock43.
-There are plenty of mounting holes, which means it will fit A LOT of different firearms, however the issue I'm experiencing isn't with fitting, its that THERE IS NOT ENOUGH ADJUSTMENT IN THE LASER!!!!I can't adjust the laser UP enough to make it accurate at only 10 Yards. (That's 30 FEET).. the laser dot is aimed DOWN, and to the LEFT too far, even with MAX adjustment. The rail system is super tight, which offers no wiggle room for adjustment there. Going to try this on my Glock17 and hope I get better results than I did on my Glock 43...Also, Due to the length, the front top of the laser is getting covered in GSR because it has to sit soooo far forward on the 43...-Ambidextrous Button is Large.. However sticks out rather far, and is easily presses when not needed, or just by laying the gun on its side. It would def benefit from a smaller button, that requires more pressure to push, and ditch the ambi feature. They should just build a "lefty" and a "righty" option, or make it so the 2nd button can be removed, or make it so the user can install ONE button on whichever side they like.--Laser is BRIGHT.. VERY Bright. This is probably the BEST thing about this model, and why I didn't give it only 1 star...
