Full and packed with useful information. Easy to read and clearly explained.

If you prefer an educated book written from a trusted source with real data behind it, then this book is for you. I really enjoy reading and re-reading this awesome book. I learned so much! It is quite a read and is not for beginners. You need some base knowledge prior to reading this. It speaks to my intellect and sharpens my knowledge base. There is so much information for women about hormones, cycles and everything that relates to a woman! Really gained from reading this and having it in my library!

This book is incredibly thorough, well-organized and well-researched. Dr. Romm, a Yale School of Medicine graduate, is very objective about which herbal treatments work for common conditions, which are not as effective and when to rely on conventional pharmaceuticals instead. I especially loved the introductory chapter on female healers and doctors throughout history. This textbook is a valuable resource for any course on complementary treatments or for anyone interested in herbal medicine. Highly recommended.

While this is written like more of a textbook style book it is a fantastic reference for anyone. As a mother simply concerned for the health of my family and myself I found it a must have in my library. The suggestions are easy to follow and while some of the terms I have had to do further research on it has been a joy to study and use. I highly recommend this book to any mother, woman and girl as a reference and learning aid!

I love that this was written by an MD who see's the value in the need for incorporating herbal medicine into western medicine practices. I'm such a science nerd and love how scientific this book is- everything is backed up by sources and studies. Its a large book with an insane amount of resources. I'm only on page 80 (reading it through) and I am loving it. I took a 500 hour in person herbal medicine school so I'm not new to herbal medicine, and I'm learning a lot! She includes formulas and dosages as well. Thank you for a great addition to my library!

I love the book as it refers and explains lots of things that doctors these days are not bothered to explain nor explore. I’m having some difficult to have access to the recommend herbs but surely need to do a more thorough investigation and I’m sure the US market has everything available.

This is by far the best women's health book I have ever owned. I recommend it for students & women in general wanting to know more about their bodies.
