I've only used it twice with a CD, haven't tried any of the other functions yet.

Great Product, Short Cord
My latest laptop had no optical drive, and I needed one to install some software. My only complaint - the USB-C cable is rather short. As a result, I needed to move the laptop to a broad, flat surface. (laptop normally sits on a riser)

This Drive is a must-have accessory for any tech enthusiast. Its ultra-slim design and USB 3.0 connectivity provide blazing-fast data transfer speeds. With four USB ports and two TF/SD card slots, it offers seamless connectivity and versatile functionality. Having it to burn CDs, watch DVDs, or transfer files is great. I wanted because I had lots of memories in DVDs and I wanted to be able to access them. It is recommended because even as a memory transfer device it works well.

Yes, it plays cd's and dvd's
Product arrived packaged well. No tears in boxes, or scratches on unit. Plug and play is very simple. I did however need to change the country code on my pc so keep that in mind at set up.I have not attempted to burn a cd or dvd. May never need it, so I cannot comment on usability in this regard.
