Before you post learn how to use it.
I see so many posts about one-time use. First of all, there is a spray or you can use a label remover that brakes this down so you can clear the gun of any mess or clear clogs. It's called, (Great Stuff PRO Dispensing Gun Cleaner, 12oz). You spray this on top of the can if it clogs, you spray the gun to remove and you attach it to the gun to clear out the inside of the gun. Once it clears when you re-attach the gun make sure to spray some in like a small box to clear it out before spraying the foam back into the project. If your product comes missing the top do not freak out. Order with Prime trust me you will be so much happier with your returns.

Great Stuff
This is great stuff to work with. Better value than the single smaller cans with spayers on them. Goes on great with the spayer.

How to love (not hate) this stuff!
Have you ever used one of the standard cans of Great Stuff to fill some cracks and ended up with huge billowing hunks of it when you only wanted a small bead? Next, you find out that because it’s so difficult to control you emptied the can on one simple job. By now you have it on your hands, your clothes, and your phone rings. Yep. You’ll never buy that again. But wait. This really is Great Stuff. You just bought the wrong can. Get the gun ($25) and buy this. The gun stops and starts instantly, is minutely adjustable for perfect caulking. Seriously! It puts the foam right where you want it and only enough to do the job. This one can will equal 5 of 7 of the hardware store variety. Also, VERY IMPORTANT, don’t bother with the cleaning fluid and all that. I keep the can on the gun at all times. Even if the can runs out. I just rub the end of the nozzle when I'm finished. When I am ready to use it again, I just rub the nozzle tip with a utility knife and it takes right off. Shaking the can for a minute is the longest part of the process. I have on occasion left a can on for almost a year and it started up like I’d just put it down. Just make sure you keep a can on the gun and the foam inside the gun won't cure. It’s Great Stuff!!!

Great Stuff Pro is the real thing
Hi, in addition to being a homeowner DIYer, I have several BPI certifications and teach residential and commercial energy conservation, which includes air sealing and insulation. If you are considering using mono-component foam for more than one very small job, be aware of a few related facts. Firstly, mono-component spray foam expands very little, no matter what kind you buy. If you need more expansion, you have to get a bi-component product such as Tiger Foam (to spray wall cavities or rim/band joists). Secondly, the spray bottles you buy at the Home Depot should be used all at once and not stored for a long time before using or they get clogged. This is true even for the ones rated "reusable". Thirdly, these products are typically not fire-rated. Dow Great Stuff Pro needs its own dispenser gun. You can get the least expensive of the 3 which costs around $30 and will last you a long time if used correctly. Hence, this product is more expensive at the beginning but it has the following advantages: the foam is fire-rated; MUCH better dispensing control in terms of bead size and consistency; no overspraying when you release the trigger; the same bottle can officially stay on the gun for 1 month but users report that they are having no problems after 6 months. Two final points: spray foam is the best air sealer and insulation on the market but is expensive. For larger jobs such as open wall cavities, consider laying down no more than 1" of foam first and then adding much less expensive bat insulation on top of it. Do not underestimate how wickedly sticky this stuff is. DO NOT get it on your (good) clothing, skin, hair, glasses, etc or else. I found that Amazon is the right place to get foam and gun in terms of price and availability. This foam cures with the moisture in the air. In dry weather, moist (not soak) the cavity you want to fill with a light spray of water before applying the foam. You will get twice as much expansion and no voids.
