Gives a lot of information for the price. Easy to read even without the light. I have a family room that has a wood stove for the heat. I want to know the temperature of the room so i don't get it too hot and waste wood which is expensive. So I put the thermometer in that room and determine the temperature of when I should start the stove and how much wood I need to add maintain the temperature I want. Works great for that.

THE DISPLAY HAS HUGE NUMBERS! Need I tell you how easy is it to read it from across the room? Because if you never struggled with small digits you won't appreciate it but if you had I need not to spell it. Yes, this puppy is amazing. Inch tall or so digits tells you what you need to know without beating about the bushes. THE TOUCH SCREEN Yes, I don't know how many devices of this size have touch screen but even if they do, they lack other features as I must have spent few days searching for a perfect device and this is it! I love how you can touch the screen to change it from F to C and back as you please and the light comes on if you need making the screen gorgeous blue like ocean or the early evening sky.. LIGHT ON /OF TOUCH .. gorgeous blue LED screen ! Yes, all you need is one touch and you can easily find it as it is in the middle of the bottom of the screen and no guess work here. Touch i and the gorgeous blue light as in picture comes up. I really love the fact that they did not lie in the product picture. Do you know how many times we all see product promising nice LED light to the screen and then it comes and it is phew.. meh.. NO, this baby is really what it looks in the picture. Lights come up for few moments for you to see better and then it auto turns off. EASY MOUNT NO tools with a little extra effort on your side. They provide you with mounting but I found easy workaround to put it on any wall without hurting the paint or need for tools. I bought double sided clear tape.. while ANY double sided tape will do and I have no benefit of sharing this I still do because I just love this tape for little jobs when I need to stick a picture to the wall. You can move it about and no trace. IT does not go off with the paint. Who would know.. I wanted one to have there to keep an eye on humidity so this was NOT the purpose but once it is there I noticed I don't need to turn the light on if I just need a quick grab of some item I know where it is but just need a little light. It is just perfect for this! The light comes off in few seconds so no huge use and the three batteries inside seem to lasting. READING IS GOOD AND RELIABLE I am somewhat obsessed with the accuracy of things I buy and so this had to be compared with other devices of other sort to see if it is accurate because what good if it would not be right? So out of few in total that I have ALL of them consistently show accurate temperature and humidity levels . EASY ONE TOUCH switch from C to F and back. TOUCH SCREEN ROCKS! So super easy, the C to F button is on the touch screen in the corner and you can know in the dark where it is if you need it but also you can touch the light and have light up and then you can see even better.. one touch switches to F.. another back to C and so on.. perfect for your European Guests or if you are fluent with both systems. HIGH and LOW is always visible so you can see what was the last high and the last low reading which is helpful if you need to know. Price is reasonable, Quality is superb, Size is perfect, LED Touch screen makes it insanely fabulous, The blue light of the screen makes it dreamy. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS UNIT! Seek no further. This is a very good Item and it monitors the Humidity level, Temperature and also keeps the Highest and Lowest readings of both of those. I compared it to another one and readings were exactly the same. It was an eye opener to show thw amount of humidity i had in my home! I have now bought a dehumidifier from Amazon! It was very easy to use , size is perfect and the cost is well worth it!

It is very accurate and easy to read. The only downside is that it takes a little time to adjust to temperature and humidity changes when moved from one place to another. Other than that, it works great. Looks great and excellent size for indoor.

This is a nice Thermometer for the money. It looks and feels like good quality. It is hot here in the south. I brought the thermometer inside as soon as it was delivered and opened it up. The temperature read 85 on the thermometer, when it was only 74 in the room. It had been sitting in the back of a hot Amazon delivery truck all day, and I assume all the components were heated up. It took around 15-20 minutes (maybe 30) to register the correct room temperature. Now it works fine, but don't expect it to behave like an instant-read thermometer. If you walk into another room that is hotter or cooler than the one you moved from, it will take a few minutes to calculate the correct temperature. I need one in several places. It comes with a built-in stand, or you can hang it. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it.

I purchased my ThermoPro TP55 based on the features it has, and its high percentage of favorable reviews on Amazon. When it first arrived, I wanted to see if it was accurate. As a homeowner I don’t have access to sophisticated scientific testing equipment, so I did the best I could with what I had to work with. I placed the ThermoPro on a book shelf in the living room, between a new compact thermometer / hygrometer from another manufacturer, and an older unit I already had. I then checked the readings of all three periodically, to see if they were in sync with each other. Over the course of two consecutive days, they did not vary more than three or four tenths of a degree temperature-wise, or four or five points humidity reading, from each other. From time to time I checked the temperature on the book shelf with my trusty instant-read digital meat thermometer (the kind with a long metal probe); it showed the same reading the other thermometers did. And, best of all, the thermometers were consistent with the temperature displayed on the heater thermostat. From that testing, I was able to conclude that the TP55 can be relied upon to provide the correct temperature and humidity, and that it responds to changes as quickly as my other two thermometer / hygrometer devices do. Besides its accuracy, there are other features of the TP55 that I like as well. For example, it saves the high / low temps and humidity readings for the past 24 hours. I find this capability to be surprisingly useful (e.g., I saw how cold the bedroom got overnight when the heater was turned down, and then used that info to adjust the thermostat accordingly so the bedroom wouldn’t get quite as cold the next night). The 24 hour "clock" can be restarted whenever desired, by simply depressing a button on the front of the unit for a few seconds. And, the unit allows one to also view the "all time" high and low readings since the last battery change, if that information is needed for some reason. Another useful feature is its backlight capability (handy if you want to check the temperature in a dark room without turning on the main light and waking your spouse up). The unit is of a decent size, so the numbers on the display are very easy to read, even from a distance. It has a fold-out stand, so it can be placed in a slightly tilted position for easy viewing on a shelf, counter top, or dresser. In addition, it has a hole on the back for wall mounting, and a pair of magnets so it can be attached to a metal surface (e.g., side of the microwave, refrigerator, metal shelf in a utility closet or bathroom, etc.). To net it all out: the ThermoPro is accurate, does what it is supposed to, and is easy to view and use. I am very happy with my TP55, and would recommend ThermoPro products to anyone.

This works perfect, easy to read and accurate

Great product. Easy to read. Magnet works great. Have it on my refrigerator. Temp and humidity seems accurate based off of my other gauges in the home. Is it perfect? Who knows but it is close enough for me. Buying a second one to put in my indoor climate controlled storage area to keep an eye on temps. Has historical memory so I can see if the storage area is maintaining hot/cold temps.

Excellent Hygrometer and Thermometer. It seems to provide a very reliable reading. Batteries come included. The temperature readings can be changed between Deg F or Deg C. I like the magnet at the back that makes it installing easier on a mettalic surface e.g. a fridge door.

Nice large screen with backlight for easy viewing at night. Also shows temp with an extra decimal point so you can tell the temps better.
