I bought these to help keep birds off my front door area. Working good as of now.

My neighborhood had quite a few ducks that would walk through and roost in various yards including mine. At first I thought this was nice because nature was mixing with our neighborhood. After a week or so I began to realize that the ducks were pooping all over the sidewalk and walkways and in fact there was even some poop on my front porch that I had to step carefully through. After getting a scrub brush in spending a couple hours cleaning all of it up, I decided I didn't want the ducks on my lawn but it was okay for them to be across the street. I began running out and chewing them away hoping this would train them to stay off my yard. To some degree it worked but inevitably when I wasn't around they were coming back. Then I saw this decoy in Amazon and decided to give it a try. I filled a plastic Ziploc bag with some water and places it inside the statue that they sent me to keep them weighted down. I placed one in front of the shrubbery by my front door, and I put one near the other side of my house. After about 2 days, the duck groups began noticably thinning out, and after about 4 to 5 days when I went outside I didn't even see any of them congregating across the street! Now it's been 2 weeks or so and the other side of the street remains clear as well as my yard! I definitely got my money's worth with these duck avoiding little decoy statues. I recommend them! AFTERWORD: Maybe the ducks figured it out after a month, but they are no longer worried about the plastic owl figures in my yard...

My husband got these to scare off the pigeons on our roof and it worked. One of the pigeons didn't seem to buy it and moved from our roof to the neighbors but eventually that pigeon left. I will say my husband did have to move the owls around maybe 2-3 times for all the pigeons to leave.

These owls are nicely made and I like them. Unfortunately, one of the owl’s head doesn’t work properly. It moves back and forth and bobbles but only if I touch it myself-the fin on the back of the head isn’t responding to the wind blowing it. The other one works perfectly and they are on the same porch. That’s the only reason for 3 stars.

I was surprised at not only how well these decoys work, but how extremely effective they are! My Tahoe had become not only a favorite meet-up spot for the local birds, but also a favorite pooping spot! Every morning my car would be covered in white mess. Once I set one of these owls on the car, there hasn't been a single dropping since! I gave one to my son, who is also now enjoying a bird-free car!

I really like this scarecrow owl overall. It’s sturdy, well-made, and the size and appearance are spot on—it actually looks convincing from a distance. It adds a nice touch to the yard and feels like it will hold up over time. That said, I was a bit disappointed that the head doesn’t move much. I expected more motion to help scare birds away, and that part falls a little short. I considered returning it because of that, but honestly, I like the look and build quality enough to keep it.

These owls played a perfect scarecrow in our garden. They worked perfectly to scare off other birds. Quality, compared to price made them an excellent purchase.

They look great, but do not work. Poor design and execution! Fortunately, I can correct the design flaw and make them work. But shouldnt have to! So dont waste your money! ***UPDATE*** The seller reached out and realizing there was a problem, offered a complete refund and is looking into the problem! Trustworthy and reputable seller. I would not hesitate to buy from them again! For this reason, even though the product I received is defective, I am upgrading to 4 stars!

Love these they are on my windowsill. But the pigeons have learned they're not real and only on really windy days they keep away because the heads turn. Although I do love them the kids loved them too.
