I find it very effective.

The first sign of a moth problem for many of us is a few neat round holes in a favourite jumper or t-shirt. The Arcana is not as nice smelling as old fashioned mothballs, lavender or cedar but much more effective and the smell wears off the clothing quickly leaving items intact. I now also spray all cotton and woolen clothing bought from charity shops and bought new as a preventative measure as soon as they come into the house. (I have indeed on occasions found mothholes in items just bought from a shop new not noticing the tiny hole until arriving home!). It’s not easy to find a moth spray for clothing. I searched everywhere for some in local shops eventually buying loads of bits of paper things, card things, room sprays, even cedar blocks spending a fortune but nothing as good as this was when I first used it. I then found half a bottle of this under the kitchen sink which I had forgotten that I had bought from Amazon some time ago so have resprayed my clothes! When it runs out, I will buy it again.

This did kill moths but the creatures just kept coming and coming so I don't know if it was working as well on the eggs and larvae. I was using this in conjunction with moth repellent balls as well as sticky moth traps. Anyway, I moved thankfully and the moth problem left me but Godspeed if you are going through it.

We had an infestation of white-shouldered moths who thought they'd hit the jackpot when they found our Spring Bulbs in storage... Bought the small bottle to try it out first. It's easy to use and two different options of spray (although I didn't notice a lot of difference between the two). The smell IS strong, but not unpleasant at all. You may want to leave a few windows open in the room though... Only reason I knocked a star off is it seemed to make them drunk or flail around on the floor rather than kill them even after leaving the spray on overnight (although thankfully it DID kill a few and at least the ones that survived were slow/immobile enough to then catch). So overall, happy with our purchase.
