Excellent Stereo Noise Cancelling Headset for Business Use
Excellent stereo headset. I am a lawyer who telecommutes 100% of the time. Particularly during COVID, I noticed that I had better, less tiring and easier comprehension on phone/Zoom calls when I used my Apple earbuds - - because I was using both ears. As opposed to my then phone operator style single ear Blue Parrot headset. Our brains comprehend best when we hear with both ears! So I then bought these (only two ear version I could then find of Blue Parrot) and have been very pleased, in fact have bought three of them (for two locations and to replace one I broke). Bottom line is I hear extremely well with these, and adjacent noise (children) does not come through. I have recommended them highly to business acquaintances who have been similarly impressed. Comments: If you don’t flip the mike boom down towards your lips folks can’t hear you. That’s why they are called noise cancelling! They emphasize bass frequencies more than mid-range (which is where the intelligence in speech comes in). So people’s voices sound lower than they do in person - - Once dealing with a CSR with a very deep voice I had to switch back to my earbuds. Have not tried the app or tried to program them, work fine out of the box. Have not used them with music, in part due to the high bass, but that is not what I bought them for. Long battery life. Large and comfortable, size is why I bought a second one to use at our daughters (largish for travel, esp if you are traveling carry-on). Be gentle with the on-off switch, which is what I broke after three years. Highly recommend these.

Works like a champ.
So, I've owned this headset since September 2024. No problems connecting, charging, hearing, speaking, using. Seems good quality to me, and no issues at this time. I would buy this again.

Excellent before Windows 11 upgrade
Purchased May 2020 and used daily (avg 6 days a week) for over a year and about 4/days/week since Summer 2021. Excellent battery life. Sound was low quality on Headset mode but very good on Headphones mode (set in Windows/bluetooth/sound setup). But since I upgraded to Win 11 music sounds like Headset mode, low quality, and I tried updates and settings recommended but still not great for music. Very good for all the zoom & messenger, etc. calls. I often connect to both PC and my phone at same time and use for phone calls too. Noise cancellation very good. I recommend getting the free krisp.ai software which is amazing at microphone sound cancellation.

Perfectly uncomfortable. But acceptable after super gluing some aftermarket Bose earpads.
This product has all the features I want, minus comfort. REVIEW UPDATE: Upped to 4 stars now I have put on some after market earpads. I purchased the 'Bingle Cusions Quietcomfort 15 Ear Pads' - they do not attach very well so I needed to superglue them (maybe investigate some others that will attach easier if you have this comfort problem). Not ideal but the fix has held up for the past few weeks and these are like different headphones - hey are now acceptably comfortable. As I mention below, the rest of the features on these headphones are perfect. Noise suppression of the microphone is amazing. BLUEPARROTT - PLEASE SORT THIS OUT AND OFFER BETTER STOCK EARPADS. Most of the reviews I could find were for trucker requirements. However, I have brought these more as an office worker that wants bluetooth headphones with noise cancelling microphone (note these are NOT ambient noise canceling earphones - but thats OK for me). On paper these headphones seem excellent. After a day of using them I can say; + Reasonable/good audio quality from headphones (via Bluetooth). The wired connection quality is quite poor though (via supplied USB or 3.5m headphone jack). But happy to have headphone jack for flights or if battery is flat). I'm not an audiophile but its bassey and loud. Good enough to enjoy music, may lack in clarity for purists. OK for me. + Noise cancelling microphone seems to work really well. Walking down a noisy street did not distract others on call, although slightly noticeable. (Much better than my old Bose QC20's that picked up lots of background noise). General office background chatter was not noticed at all. + Simple connection and good button features (simple mute, answer/decline calls, forward/back on music) + Battery seems good so far. Still 'high battery' after 5 hours use. - There is no way to get around the fact the design is poor for comfort (and I don''t have big ears or head). Earpads are too small and not padded enough, and headphones seem to be too tight. I have ordered the "Bingle Cusions Quietcomfort 15 Ear pads for Bose QC15" as I have heard that these help - I hope so, if they resolve this its perfect for what I need. If they dont, I may need to send back. - They connect to 2 devices, (this is good) but I got quality problems when using bluetooth mouse at same time as these with laptop. Work fine when just connected to phone though. This is probably a fault of the laptop Bluetooth rather than these earphones.

Love the head set
Have bought several sets over the years. This set is not year old and the power button popped out (broke). Past sets have lasted 2 to 3 years each and still worked when I would replace with new.

Horrible pairing and App doesn't work
The audio on these is good - when you can get it to pair properly. It loses pairing often with smartphone and have to turn of and back on to reconnect, or go into phone settings and manually reconnect. Pairing with PC is even worse! Sometimes it connects, sometimes not. And the app that is supposed to make the Parrot button work, does NOT work. It won't even detect the headset! That was the main reason for buying this headset - I needed the parrot button for push-to-talk features. Physical fit is horrible. The pads are too small and don't fit around my ears well. The headband is too thin and digs into my scalp - OUCH! And the microphone boom MUST be worn on the right and only swivels about 140-degrees down. IMPOSSIBLE to wear with microphone on left (my preference).

Good, Yet Lacking in Sueprising Ways
To begin these headphones are very good for their intended purpose. But there are some things that are done poorly and that are inexcusable at this price point. I will list the good and the so-so below. 1. Noise cancellation/mic clarity: Very Good but not as good as earlier cheaper models (ie B250 XTS has superior noise cancelling.) But the noise cancelling here is still very good. 2. Sound Quality: OK to Good. The sound quality as stereo headphones is ok to good. The lows and highs are there but barely and they are a bit muddy, even when you are in low ambient sound environments. This is understandable as this is not the primary function of this unit. 3. Microphone (not clarity): Disappointing. The mic has two negative features. a) It is encased in a hard plastic boom that only pivots from its connection to the earpiece section. This is substantially inferior to the gooseneck mic of other BlueParrot models because it is more prone to breakage and it is not adjustable for different size heads/faces. b) It swings from its pivot point so you can adjust its height relative to your mouth which is good, but it can only be used when the headphones have the mic on the right side of the face. There are folks who, for various reasons, may need to use it from the other side or change sides from time to time. With this model it is impossible to put the mic on the left side. 4. Earpiece Cushions: Fair. I love the idea of having two earpieces, i.e. a full headset. But the earpiece cushions are very cheap and do not offer a premium fit/feel as headphones in this price point should. The head band is fairly tight, though adjustable, which is good because this keeps these headphones securely on your head. However, the earpiece cushions are not sufficient to mitigate the strong pressure applied by this tight headband. This makes for discomfort on the ears after just a few minutes of use (I suppose those with very narrow heads will not experience this discomfort or will have less of this discomfort). I am still working on a way to mitigate this discomfort for me. 5. BlueParrot App: Fair. Because it is an app there are many things that could be done to improve - as is the way with all apps, so I will only touch upon one glaringly missing feature and one internal coding flaw. a) I was under the impression that the firmware on the headset was updatable via the app. This is incorrect. You must update the firmware via a Windows or Apple computer. I use a Chromebook. I would not have made this purchase if I knew the firmware can only be updated via Windows or Apple computers and not Chromebook or the app. There are two opportunities missed here, either would have been sufficient for me, though updates via the app would be the best choice for most users. This would have been a dealbreaker for me had I understood correctly. b) The BlueParrot app is always running in the background on your phone using both battery and processing power. As a Developer and Systems Engineer, I understand why it was coded this way. However, with some thought this app/hardware system could have been architected in a far superior manner. Settings made via the app could have been stored on the headset thus saving phone resources. (The walkie Talkie feature would take other, creative architecting but the rest could have the app not running in the background. 6. The aux cable that came with mie is faulty. The sound is garbled when I use it. Summary: This product is a very good product that accomplishes its primary purpose very well (though not excellently due to the reduction is noise cancelling as compared to previous models). The fit and finish, comfort, and features expected at this price point are a bit wanting. I will keep and continue to use these, once I find a way to mitigate the discomfort of the earpieces, but I will not purchase these again until some of the above mentioned issues are overcome.
