Mount is pretty sturdy. No wiggle on the bar. Hardware was great, hex screws with lock nuts (Hex keys provided). Dose not come with instructions, but the mounting was pretty self-explanatory. You are able to swivel left and right if you want your plate to contour more or less to your front bumper. If you are curious about the tow hook cover, I bought an OEM cover from Subaru ($11+ tax), drilled the hole in the center and slid it over the Hex extension.

A great option on a budget. No real directions, but there's plenty of YouTube videos if you're OCD like me, and want to make sure it's just right.Take your time, make sure your screws and everything is tight as you go. I've had mine on for a couple of months and it's still tight and solid.

It's so rare to find an inexpensive, yet effective plate relocation mount. So far after two months, it has held its position, has not shifted, and feels secure. It also doesn't stick too far out from the bumper. Would recommend this over some expensive name brand ones if you're simply after the relocate.

I wanted to like this, but the main tube just didn’t screw into the tow hook threads. It went in only a little bit (like a quarter turn) and then stopped. I used force with my hands and it didn’t thread on. I’m not about to use any tools to thread this pipe for fear of trashing my tow hook socket. I got a different license plate holder instead.

On my 2021 forester base sticks out a little too much forward than I’d like it too.

The plate holder is very easy to intall, it feels sturdy.

But better to leave good metal glue to let it won't skew.

Works just fine on my 2016 STI. Beware if your tow hook female threads are rusty, it will originally appear as though this won't fit at all. Had to use a wire brush on a drill to clean it out and work the plate mount in and out several times to clear out the threads and allow proper fitment, but that is no fault of this product. Works good, looks good.

Missing instructions and tow rod to attach to the actual car…

Although it's intended for Subarus, it fits my 2024 GR86 (basically a subaru) well using the front tow mount. It lacked some instructions or a diagram for installation, but the video on the amazon product page was sufficient for installation.

This item was missing most of the nuts and bolts and missing one of the allen keys shown in the picture.Otherwise it's works well and I'm pleased with the overall results.
