Wildgame Innovations Terra 8 Megapixel IR Infrared Hunting Trail Camera, Takes Video and Still Images

For the price that you can get this camera for it provides a great value. I will say that you need to be realistic about what you're getting for this price. The image quality at night is not the best with pictures, but it's completely acceptable on video mode. I personally use this camera on public land to do some scouting and don't want to risk losing a higher quality unit to theft. I'm not trying to get frame-able pictures from this, so just giving me an idea of the deer in the area. Unfortunately I'm not able to add a video for your reference, but you can see by the graininess of the still photo that it's not the best on that mode. I do like the quality of the video the best, so having a slightly larger SD card and running strictly video seems to be the best route. In all, I'd highly recommend this camera as long as you have realistic expectations of what you're getting. It's not going to take high quality night time pictures, but the video mode is acceptable. Either way, you'll get a good idea of what's in the area.

@VTWildlifeGameCameraVids (see videos from these cameras) These are great cameras. I’ve bought many and have had really good luck with them. The daytime images are great. Battery life is pretty good too. Easy to setup and Mount at your favorite spot.

This camera performs really well relative to it's price point. The photo quality is good, but is more pixelated then what you would get if you spent another $50. There is no sensitivity to adjust, but this camera ends up taking less photos without animals in them then other cameras I've used.

We had rats in our attic! We were not sure what was up there making loud noises and keeping us up at night! We tried all kinds of baits and poison and traps. We ordered this camera and everyday we checked the camera. We live in the country so we were not sure what it really was. Anyway we found 2 critters and they never went to some of our bait. Having the pictures was awesome. It caught dozens of photos of them jumping on everything and which baits they would not go close to. LOVE this camera. I bought the smaller less expensive one and it was awesome!

Still playing with it. Pros: - Good price - Time/date stamp - Good resolution of pictures/video - Easy to set up. You need to adjust only time/date and to choose still or video mode (was video mode by default). Cons: - confusing red indicator - sometimes it blinks during taking pictures, sometimes not. In the manual it's said that it will blink during first 2 min of cam working (test mode) then all indicators will be turned off. During the night the flash blinked like crazy - a bright red rectangle in the night - only a blind creature will not notice it. Maybe after 2 min it shall turn off too - need to check it again. - A logo in the bottom left corner which covers some of the picture. No logo in the video mode though. - Very long pauses between shot pictures - about 2 min. Will check again but for now will use the video mode. It has about 30 sec-1 min pauses between 30 sec videos. - Too short bungee cords (or my trees are to thick). Can use only thin trees or poles. - In the night the objects are whited out in the close distance, look too bright, like white blobs or silhouettes.

I bought this just for using in my backyard to see the various critters that might visit. It wasn't too expensive, and it was simple enough to setup. The bungie cords seem a little anemic at first, but they are working for me so far. Picture quality seems to be in line with what I paid for it, and it's fun to check the card every few days to see what had been snapped. So far, I'm catching more sasquatch than raccoon or deer... but we'll get there I'm sure.

Not very happy. I normally don't leave reviews, but this has me frustrated. Installed energizer lithium batteries new. Camera was out a week and dead already. Screen might flash on for a second showing low battery and only one of the 2 red lights on front comes on. Good brand batteries and they are not cheap. Should have lasted much longer than a week. Emailed wild game innovations, hopefully ill hear back good news soon. UPDATE!! Got replacement and it did same thing as the first camera. Placed batteries in it and set it outside of my house to test it out. Battery meter showed full. Checked it next day and it was dead already. 24hrs and batteries drained.

I read about the power issue, and had been planning my hunt, so I tested the camera in my back yard with generic batteries, and a standard card. I cranked the settings, and expected poor performance, and dead batteries within a week. That didn't happen, and I still have not drained a set of batteries in it. In the week prior to the hunt, I had fresh Duracells in it, and a clean 32gb card, I did catch one good shot, with a close doe, and 3 more does in the background. Unfortunately the deer did not deliver, but the Camera held up to sub-zero temps, freezing and thawing, shaking in the wind, and being dropped a few times. The format is a little different than I would have preferred, but that too can be overcome, as there's and app for just about anything. In all, this was the camera I could afford when I needed one, and it performed better than it is given credit for.

Trotz neuer Batterien und frisch formatierte SD-Karte liefert die Kamera keine Nacht-Aufnahmen. Auch sind Tag-Aufnahmen grieselig. Diese Kamera ist Schrott. Habe 2 weitere Kameras von Wildgame Innovations, die sind perfekt.

Amazing camera! Doesn’t work with some sd cards as you need a class 10 sd card! Takes great pictures and the price is right! Had another one for 2 years so far and still works great!

This is my second Wildgame camera. It has a fast trigger speed and clear pictures. Had it set along with my $200 Cuddyback camera. Hands down, it had 3 times the number of pictures both night and day. I will be ordering more.
