I purchased this mouth guard for my son, who is autistic and practices BJJ/Muay Thai. Unfortunately, due to his sensory issues, we struggled to get it to fit properly. Despite multiple, maybe too many, attempts, it was too rough for him to continue trying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ However, I still give it 5 stars for its quality. The product itself was user-friendly and far superior to traditional mouth guards in every possible way. If I had approached the fitting as i did with my best failure, playing dentist and side by side, I might have been successful. The mouth guard is durable and almost stayed in place during my failed attempts. I am confident that if I had succeeded with my son, this would have been the perfect mouth guard for him. If you are in search of a mouth guard that is sturdy, stays in place, allows for easy breathing and talking during intense activities, and your child does NOT have sensory issues to do with his mouth and dentist type stuff, this is the ideal choice. I washed it well and gave minimal, read that as extremely poor, guidance to my 12-year-old son, and surprisingly, he got it right on the first try. It would have required minor adjustments, but overall, it was a straightforward process. He is only 2 years older than my other son, so it was not a maturity thing, however, my 12 year-old would need the adult size, plus he does not do the same activity. While I am unsure about a solution for my autistic son, currently we are stuck with Hope no teeth are knocked out, for a child without sensory issues, the process is simple, and the results far surpass traditional mouth guards. I emailed the company and they quickly replied and they are taking care of me.

I think the concept and quality is good - problem is execution. It's tricky to get it set right and it wound up getting deformed, and not formed properly. Only really get one crack at getting it right and we didn't. 22 bucks down the drain. Again - I think if we were able to get it set right, it would be a great mouthguard, but too much can go wrong with setting it up and we unfortunately threw 22 bucks down the drain.

The quality and instructions are very good and I really wanted this to work. But trying to shape it on my 9 year old just didn't work. It kept leaving bumps sticking out at the front. Would re-soften and it would just move the bump around. Couldn't get smooth no matter how many times we tried. It's probably much easier to do on yourself. Update. They company reached out to me and refunded my money. This increased my original 3 stars to 4. I will try this again once my kid is a little older and hopefully we can shape it better.

Say goodbye to buying new mouth guards weekly if you have a sensory kiddo. These are a game changer. Before we found this mouth guard we would go through a month guard every practice or every week (3 practices). Omg it drove me bonkers. We bought one of these a YEAR AND A HALF AGO and now we just purchased a new replacement. I’m in absolute shock it’s lasted a year and a half. It’s super easy to reshape as your kid grows and their mouth changes. My sensory kiddo loves that she actually forgets she is wearing it. She can talk with it in, it stays clean and fits her PERFECTLY!! I can not thank this manufacturer enough for providing us with such an amazing product. We have referred this product to ther families who love it just as much.

Great idea and concept but Very hard to get a child to mold in the mouth alone!! It comes flat and you have to heat it up and have the child bit in marked areas … had to help shape it and use some wire cutters and plyers to cut some parts off and bend it after hardening. Even tho it softens up when put in hot water again this took way too much work and energy to get it right and I’m still not sure its actually comfortable for my son
