The Sour Grape: A Story About Grudges, Friendship, and Forgiveness (The Food Group)

I got this for my 5 year old, who was able to read it entirely by herself (but she is an advanced reader). She absolutely loves this book series. The word variety is very good to increase vocabulary exposure and the moral lesson is, in my opinion, beneficial for this age group.

The Sour Grape Series are favorites for my little nephews and nieces. They are constantly asking for me to read them over and over. Great gift for kids 🤙🤙🤙 all the books are very well constructed and has vibrant colors. Great story lines as well conveys great messages.

These books are so well written, they are so funny also!

My son loves this book and all of the books in this collection. They have good meaning and they are easy to read.

My kids really like this book. I love everything about it, the illustrations and the story are just perfect. You can have so many great discussions with your kids after reading it. I’ll definitely buy more books from this series.

I read this with my boy at bedtime and he loved it. A wonderful read, funny and easy to understand and provoked lots of thought and chat. A wonderful book we’ve read again and again with a wonderful lesson behind it.

Another fantastic book by Jory John and Pete Oswald. This may be my new favourite in the series. Great story with a nice lesson and the illustrations are cute! My kindergarten class loves it! I highly recommend this book (and the entire series) to teachers and parents.
