I was so excited to buy this engraving tool as I’ve wanted to try engraving on my explore air 2 for ages.The tool sits in perfectly but once it goes to engrave the tool just slides over the top of the item. I was absolutely gutted that this didn’t work how it should.I did manage to do some engraving but the only way I could do it was to apply pressure to the top of the engraving tool just so it worked.Wasn’t happy with having to hold it and not being able to allow it to do its job without the pressure.

I bought this to make engraved tags for friends and family. I even tried just doing a name and followed the instructions on the sellers information on Amazon, I even repeated the process 10 times and it still didn't engrave the tags supplied in the kit. I even tried thin acrylic sheets to see if that would work but no joy. AVOID THIS PRODUCTP.S. I only gave it one star as it wouldn't allow me to submit without a star rating

Must be one of the only accessories that isn’t compatible with the whole platform.

First couple of tags I engraved failed as my matt was not sticky enough so ensure your matt is clean and good. Works well. Made a couple of dog tags for friends.
