The illustration/description shows the hook as one solid formed unit and that is the only reason I purchased them. They actually have small balls welded to the ends that break off.

I bought these initially to use to hang coffee mugs from a mounted rod in my kitchen to free up cabinet space. Since there were so many, we also put some in our bathrooms to hang stuff from. We still have more than half the pack and are constantly looking for more uses. They came in a resealable bag, which is super convenient! I'll be buying these again if we ever need more.

Does the job
Used to hang bags and toys from a canopy at the beach. They did the job. A couple of hooks had lots the rounded ends.
