Puracy vs Lume
I tried Lume whole body deodorant about 4 years ago. Leโme just say - PEW!! It was a mixture of earthiness (dirt or clay) mixing with my body funk. No deal here. I had been using Native for the past 3, 3.5 years, but noticed it kind of failing me a bit as of late. Bodies do change. So, I decided to give Lume another try. In doing so, I discovered theyโd expanded their line to also include acidified body wash. I was not only intrigued because I Iโd never heard of acidified washes and the advantages they boast for odor reduction and elimination (what soap never fully does for me), but also because of several reviews claiming reduction or elimination of hyperpigmentation, which I have from scarring from bumps. So I got the starter kit which came with a full stick of deodorant, a travel sized tube of cream deodorant and wipes, and my upgrade of a full sized body wash. Guess what? My body indeed changed and took immediately to the deodorant (it IS possible that my first try followed a switch from standard deodorant and my body had to acclimate to the โmore naturalโ. Iโd long given up antiperspirant). It does not quite give me the advertised 72 hrs of protection (lol), but it definitely gives at least 36 and as much as 48+ with out reapplying. Though I have to say, for my body, itโs only pits, under boob and feet approved. It causes irritation in, uhm, more โsensitive areasโ, and, in those areas, while the smell is not BO, I find it unpleasant . And the body wash, easily passing the โbutt-sudsโ odor test, completely and effortlessly cleansed all and any scent of odor away. I was hooked. But there were 3 strikes for Lumeโs body wash. I find it both drying and mildly irritating to my face (including leaving some red marks and bumps), and mildly irritating to the โsensitive areasโ (particularly the bum). Lastly, $20 a tube is expensive. So I began to search for alternatives. Thatโs when I found Puracy. Not only did I find an acidifying body wash that gave me 50% more product than Lume at half the price, itโs also 98% plant based cleansing. I also read repeated reviews about gentleness on skin, it being non-drying, and good for face and body. So, as my Lume wash was running out, why not give this wash a try?The first test was the nightly cleansing of my face of makeup. Puracy took it right off, leaving minimum residue on my washcloth after having first washed and rinsed with my hands. Canโt say the same for Lume where I always had to wash again with the cloth and then scrub out the makeup residue on the cloth. The results with Puracy were a clean, smooth face with no bumps, tightness, or dry shiny or red spots. Second test was the shower. It does not lather quite like Lume, but you donโt need to use any more than you would Lume either. The scent is not as strong and does not linger like with Lune either. These are neither good or bad but come down to preference (I prefer a bit more lingering scent, but this is not enough an issue to deduct points). Where the true difference comes and pushes this wash to the lead are the following.1. Completely and effortlessly eliminates odor in all regions (just like Lume), but without irritation or dryness.2. Related to #1 - it easily passes the butt-suds test!3. You will likely not need Lume body wash to benefit from Lume deodorant - I showered at night and the next morning I still did not need to โreplenishโ the Lume deodorant applied the morning before.4. It rinses so clean it makes toweling off a breeze. Lume leaves a slippery feeling once you rinse off, no matter how much you rinse. It looks like Iโve found a winner. As Lumeโs deodorant is in line price wise with the market. And since Puracy does not have deodorant - this pair of competitors combine nicely to pose a winning defense against BO without a lot of chemicals, harsh or not. Now the next thing I will try is both laundry and cleaning from Puracy.

Absolutely brilliant product. Happy skin at last!
I cannot recommend this body wash highly enough. In the last few years my skin has become increasingly sensitive. One of the myriad less lovable effects of menopause for me has been thinning and highly sensitive skin which has resulted in the sudden and rather mysterious appearance of little scratches and cuts on my body and eczema like patches of skin that appear and disappear randomly and for reasons that I couldn't fathom. The dermatologist confirmed that this was a common symptom post menopause. I was trying various natural sulfate free products which were pleasant enough and it didn't seem to make much difference. I came across this company on Amazon and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I was skeptical because of how many other products had proven underwhelming. I was amazed and thrilled when I first use this product. It has a very pleasant and light lemony smell, lathers up nicely, but most importantly, leaves my skin soft and supple, with no itchy patches or irritation. Months later I am still using this product with the same happy effect. I went to see my esthetician last week and she commented on how soft my skin was. I also use the body lotion which I love. It goes on easily, sinks in really fast and doesn't leave any greasy residue at all. I feel as though my skin can breathe. Thank you puracy for creating these wonderful products. I am now going to buy the household products and I am very excited to see how they work. Who knew that I would ever be excited about using a household product?!!

Not your typical natural soap that smells like candle wax - this good
I take great pride in my online searching capabilities. Most definitely spending way too much time with the research aspect of it. Naturally, being as it may, finding this body wash has changed me for the better. I found my go-to in this body wash. Perfect subtle scent yet effective cleansing/foaming feeling and no dryness ever. Most importantly it doesn't have that overwhelming "all natural " candle wax scent to it so I don't even know I'm using the "hippie stuff". Lol. It's good

Lovely but a bit thin
Smells lovely! Although, must say itโs a bit thin. Need to use more product to get it to foam up. Skin feels smooth and nice after :)

Gentle, Reliable Body Wash for Sensitive Skin
I've been using Puracy Body Wash for a while now, specifically the Coconut Vanilla scent in the large refill size. It's designed to be a natural body wash suitable for the whole family, with plant-based ingredients and a focus on being moisturizing and gentle enough for dry, sensitive skin. One of the biggest wins for me is how well it works for my kids. We've been using this brand for three years straight, and we haven't had a single issue with skin reactions, which is a huge relief when you have sensitive little ones. It gets them clean without any dryness or irritation. I tried other but this is the best.Overall, I'm really happy with this body wash. It's a reliable choice for families, especially those with kids or anyone needing a gentle, non-reactive soap. The large refill size is also convenient and lasts a long time.

Love the scent
I have no complaints. I'm using the dish soap and laundry detergent also, do guess that makes me a fan! The fragrance is very light, thickness is fine, my bottle has a cap so no pump issue. No problem with skin irritation or dryness.

Coming from a garage tech, this soap can handle anything, and still leave your skin feeling great...
I want to start off this review by mentioning that I work in a garage setting. This means I'm constantly in contact with grease, road grime, and so many petroleum based lubricants and jellies; so the last thing I want touching my skin at the end of the day is another chemical ridden soap. Because that's the time of day I really get to relax and feel genuinely clean for the first time that day, I've become a little bit of a soap snob. Usually I prefer solid soaps for the scent and skin feel, but this is the first liquid soap I've really, really liked. I've now had this soap for about 5 months now, and this is why I love it...Despite being natural, it has no problem cutting through grease and grime I've accumulated throughout the day. The scent is also perfect for my taste; it's subtle, but definitely still has presence. I mostly notice the grapefruit and pink Himalayan salt, with something else I can't put my finger on. Anyway, its greatAlso worth mentioning, I have sensitive skin. Especially on my face I have some almost eczema like patches that can flare up if I don't take care of it. Having used this soap through a cold and dry Wisconsin winter, into a hot and muggy summer, I can tell you this has performed very well. I haven't needed to add anything else to my skin care routine and the spots on my face have not been inflamed at all since using this soap. Its very gentle, and moisturizes well.Of course, my skin chemistry and work environment isn't going to be the same for everyone, but in my experience, this soap has more than earned 5 stars in my book. It's my new go to, and I'll be restocking once I get through the bulk sized bag I ordered months ago. (I highly recommend the big bags worth of soap; best price per volume, and less plastic waste - just squirt some into an existing soap bottle for convenience). My only qualm: the bag of soap I ordered had some damage from shipping, but odds are this was the mailman's doing, and not the packaging itself. A small corner that was melted into place for the bags regitity had pulled apart at the seam. NOTE: This did not hurt the bags function or cause any leaking whatsoever. Just something to check for when you order yours so you can prolong the bags life.

Great Product for Sensitive Skin
The coconut vanilla body wash by Puracy is great! I struggle with skin issues and love that this gives off a nice non overpowering scent and doesnโt irritate my skin! Leaves my skin feeling soft and smoothe. I highly recommend!

Nice quality
We are scent sensitive in our house, and find the citrus smell pleasant. The soap is gentle on the skin and non drying.. We have used this scent and brand for years.

great product - terrible packaging
super nice body wash, smells great and natural source but the package is terrible to try and pour into another container. no where to grip and the small nozzle takes forever to get anything out. I will wait until they change the package before i buy this again.
