Seemed to work great. Used a few day before show and it really brought out their vibrant colors.

A little drop will do it lathers amazingly and smells great works well on normal feathers but even better for silkies! If you have silkies or feathered footed chickens I would 100% recommend. This is also much nicer then working with dawn and they seem to like it more too.

I can honestly say I have never considered buying shampoo for a chicken.Who washes their chicken?!Well, once you own a chicken as a pet, you soon realize how useful this shampoo actually is.Our pullets have been spending a lot of time indoors with my children, since they are still too young to go outside in the coop (the chickens. not the children).They somehow manage to get poop smeared on their feathers while in their brooder, and I can't just let my wildlings (children) hold and play with the chickens and get who-knows-what on them too.I tried using regular body wash but that took some scrubbing, and the chickies did not appreciate that.Finally, I found this shampoo and decided to try it. Yes, it's pricey. But, yes it works!It removed all the poop/dirt very easily and with little to no scrubbing. It also left my chick's feathers softer and silky and shiny! My chickens like it. My children are happy. I'm happy.I did a quick but thorough deep dive into Amazon and found this shampoo.

My Japanese Quail get very clean with this product and doesn't effect them. They're a bird that doesn't like water since they prefer dust bathing but once in a while they need an actual bath if they get gunk caked on them. This stuff does the job and makes their feathers soooooo soft and they smell good!

Doozer's (Eclectus parrot) skin had become very dry. After just 2 baths with this product, I began seeing a difference , as his feathers started growing back from where he was scratching. Plus, his feathers were clean and shiny.

Both my older chicks an young chicks are curious little ladies and can get random gunk on bums or other parts. Sometimes plain water isn't enough. This shampoo makes feathers very clean and removes anything that is stuck to pasty bums. I'm pretty sure it also makes my chicks feel runway ready and fabulous!
