Too much light can crush some low contrast details. ❤ Be careful, when going from the smallest to the largest magnification, lift the tube to avoid hitting the tray. ❤ Microscope when not in use,cover the tube cover in multiples of cylinder cover. I thought my science loving kid would adore this but he is not wowed. It is okay, though feels cheaply made. I wish it had a few better prepared slides.

Dont waste your money
Ok let's start off by saying there were no instructions to this device at all.. Secondly it is extremely unclear what samples are able to be used or identified. I tried using dirt and well all it did was block the light. I tried other much smaller things like flower parts and still no results. Plus my 450 zoom in is off kilter and only works when crooked on the dial. I would not recommend at all. Very disappointing for my daughter's 10th birthday..

Don't waste your money
This product is poorly made. It's quite cheap and doesn't work at all. I'm taking a picture of it so you can actually see how small it is.
