What a Crock
Don't let the headline fool you. I wrote that so you'd read this.The crock came as pictured and has already been used multiple times. Love it. However, it does not have a drain. It gets heavy with a fuss compliment of cucumbers and brine (I bought the 5 gal). Anyway, it is nicely glazed and doesn't leave a film or discoloring of the water or brine. Make sure to order the optional weights.

Large, arrived in immaculate condition, exactly as expected
I am very happy with this crock. It arrived in good time, was exactly as described. Best of all, it was extremely well packaged so that it arrived in immaculate condition. I had been concerned about ordering a very large fragile item, but they did a super job of wrapping and ensuring it would arrive in one piece. Thanks!

FABULOUS!
Don't hesitate. This thing is absolutely perfect, and gorgeous! I was a little hesitant to order because of the terrifying photos of a broken crock. But I figured if I happened to get one that was damaged in transit, "OH WELL, I'LL JUST RETURN IT!" And I'm so glad I ordered! It got to me unbroken and in GORGEOUS shape. Whoever packed it for shipment did so VERY WELL. That awful picture of a broken crock must've been a fluke. THANK YOU OHIO STONEWARE! :-D
