I am reviewing a purchase made 3.5 years ago. 55 gal, 3 mil thick, OX Plastics contractor bags. I use them in the barn garbage can. Fence wire and barbed wire will poke holes in these bags but they are not prone to tearing. It’s time to buy more but the price has gone up a lot on this brand. These came in a box folded flat and not in a roll like another review stated. I like them and may need to accept the price hike rather than gamble on cheaper bags. I think some people write negative product reviews for fun or maybe the newer product since my purchase is not the same quality. I will purchase these bags again and find out.

I purchased this product for an unusual use. I own cats and have one cat who is particularly destructive with cat litter liners. I had been buying a 1.4 ml thickness heavy duty bag locally, which was working well as a liner. Recently, they were no longer strong enough to hold up to her vigorous clawing at the bag and I decided to look for a stronger bag. I decided on these bags as they are a much thicker bag at 3.0 mil. I also use larger size litter pans with high sides so need the 55 gallon size to fit the pan. I have now had one of these bags lining each of my two litter pans for 17 days and continuous abuse with her razor sharp claws and they have held up to all her efforts to rip them apart. Not a single hole or tear and I am very pleased! I will be repurchasing when I run out ☺️

The right size, the right thickness, perfect. These fit the big rubber maid wheeled cans just right. I read the reviews and some were critical of the packaging and of how they were put into the box, not a problem at all. The packaging is fine and they pull out of the box easy, just grab the top one and it pulls out of the box without any trouble.

Always bought another brand from Walmart but they would not ship them all the time so I switched to these. So far no bags have fallen apart with what I have stuffed them with and some have been pretty heavy. Only complaint is they are REALLY expensive!

These bags are sturdy as you'd like. I'm using them to clear out a lot of things left from the 50's in an old brick home. The only thing I can say I'm disappointed about is that they don't fit the 55gal Brute garbage can I have; they would be great for a can that doesn't flare as much as the top though the dimensions stated should fit the can.

Fits Rubbermaid Slim Jim container- and holds alot of trash. You need stong muscles to lft out and dispose of. Will not tear or leak...unless disposing hot oil/grease and melting bag. Be careful!!!

I see reviews about storing fruit or young children in these bags but they smell of smoke. Well, good grief. They aren't Ziplock freezer bags, they're TRASH bags. They do smell a bit but I suspect that's the manufacturing process imparting an odor. It's not bad. Put your garbage in and it wll smell like rotten meat in about 3 days. These are great bags. They have a little stretch so the don't rupture from a milk carton.

These fit perfectly, nice large bags, good thickness, very strong and very durable and don’t have a smell
