Q: When mounted overhead the bracket and screws are visible which looks awful, is there not a cover to hide the screws?

Barely noticeable as the screws are inside the brackets.

Q: Is the black choice black on both sides please?

We have the green one and it is the same colour both sides. Would assume the black one is the same as its made from one densely woven sheet of the same colour.

Q: Has anyone used this blind to reduce heat building up in the room, as I have sunlight all day coming through? Thanks.

Blinds to reduce heat ideally should be fitted on the outside of the building. The glass amplifies and traps the heat. So you need to stop the sun coming through the window in the first place. Hence the shutters that you'll see on many buildings

Q: witch size should i buy if there isn't my size ? Do i bye the smaller and ask to be cut in the size i log my window?

always need wider than the window and trim down if fitting in a recess
