Pretty Color
I like the color on the book and for the price it makes a really nice piece. The paper is a recycled like texture, and doesnt hold anything more than pencil and barely an ink pen. I used a G2 and made a filled in dot and a rectangle and you could see some of it filtering through to the other side. It was a complete bleed out with a marker, fountain pen, and sharpie. Acrylic paint, fingernail polish, and Mod Podge at full concentration worked fine, but there was some puckering on the opposite side of the paper. Spray Paint bled though.Chalk and Oil Pastels worked well, but based on the oil content, you might get some clear through on the paper. Did not try water colors because of the acrylic and fountain pens. Fixative caused the pastels to permeate the paper,smudging them and clear through the paper when first applied and after it was completely dry, it was white again, but still looked like it had a greasy clear through stain outline. All in all, it would make for a nice little nature journal, as long as you are careful with the materials you use with it.

Really cool little piece. It looks like something a hobbit made straight out of old-timey days! I love how soft and hand made the paper is too. Great quality, perfect for witchy needs!
