The Bad: The cable management is poor. Well, I should say it is not very good if you intend to have it fully articulate and return. It is difficult to have it lay fully flat (i.e., against the wall) without pinching a cable with the arms and there no way to have cable slack built in so that it can stretch or turn and then return tightly to the wall. Also, there is no forgiveness for centering a TV on the wall - it mounts centered on a wall stud and that is that. I had designed the studs / supports knowing this (new construction) but others retrofitting one of these in will find that to be a problem. The Good: This bracket is quite handsome, especially when compared to other brackets. The bracket also articulates in a very smooth manner which is great because the LG OLED TVs are very thin and I worried about flexing it. The Picture: The cables I had were too short (the cable management required more length than I expected) to both fully articulate AND use the cable management channels built into the mount. However, when I did try to use them and lessen how far the TV could articulate, there were still the problems stated above.

The solution to our problem (as we have windows on every wall but one in our bedroom. We had originally purchased a TV lift mechanism and planned to build a box for it, however, we felt it would always be in our face and block our views. This mount is pricey but you get what you pay for!!! Worth every penny! We are extremely happy with it! It’s strong and a very well made TV mount. The only negative is that you need to move it manually. It the UK they have the same mount but it’s motorized and comes with a remote to control the positioning, (220 V). At any rate, hoping they can make that version for the USA soon. We’ll buy it! BTW- You’ll need two people to hang the TV. Important to note: the review below is for an adaptor not for THIS TV MOUNT. It should not be shown under this review. This expensive mount is a GREAT BUY in my opinion!

I still haven’t been able to install this stand with the supposed “frustration free” installation. I originally assumed that the needed hardware would be included in the LG OLED specific Mount (NEXT 7346), but it wasn’t. I had to request and wait for the adapter kit (999967) to be shipped directly Fromm Vogel’s in the Netherlands. I will admit they expedited the package. However even after getting it, it still doesn’t fit. The supplies bracket doesn’t fit the mounting holes. Now, after contacting them again they recommend that I need a VESA 200 service kit (which isn’t available to see on their website). I am waiting for this to come to see if it solves my install issue. Although the Mount seems premium, it’s been a unsuccessful frustrating install so far.

Expensive, but only mount available for LG OLED. Nice mechanism.

The best mount for the LG OLED tv. I have the 2016 model, and it by far the best design for this tv.

The mount was easy to install and the directions were straight forward. I did have a mount there previously so I knew the backing was there. Its motion is wonderful, as it has a large range, and is easy to shift position

Doesn’t tilt and doesn’t rotate/turn enough. To be fair, the product description provides accurate specifications but difficult to visualise until it is on the wall and the tv is on it. Brilliantly engineered though.
