I have a slight challenge with my parathyroid and it is impacting my thyroid bloodwork. I was told to take this by my naturopathic doctor. The directions on the bottle tell you to take 4 capsules a day but this is ALOT. My NP said to take 2 capsules a day but this is still too much for me. I started menstruating very heavily and almost all the time...every week to 2 weeks. I cut down to 1 tablet a day and that took care of the situation. I am having my blood work drawn every 2 months and so far my thyroid bloodwork is improving on the numerous blood panels that indicate thyroid function (like free T4, T3 etc). It is going SLOWLY...but going in the right direction. So I am pleased.
