I had been using California Ranch olive oil ( which is not bad ) before trying this. WOW , what a noticeable difference . I take olive oil by the tablespoon rather than in food and this stuff really lights up the back of your throat up and makes your tongue feel fuzzy . This is because of the very high polyphenol count and it very much shows . I wanted to try a very good olive oil with a very high polyphenol count for health reasons and see if I could tell the difference . You very much can .

I just ordered this olive oil for the second time, after trying a different one in between. This olive oil is so worthwhile! It tastes fresh and bright. The bottle is also high-quality, allowing you to pour with precision, and it arrives carefully packed. Recommend!

EDIT: Customer service reached out to me and very promptly sent me a new bottle. Turns out that the original bottle that I received was missing its seal. This isn’t the fault of PJ KABOS. The missing seal leads me to believe that the first bottle had been opened at some point, causing the rancid odor and taste. Not only is this oil top notch, the customer service is as well. Worth the $$. I bought this to consume as a daily supplement because it is supposed to be high in polyphenols. It is not peppery at all like a high quality oil should be. It also smelled old and a little rancid and tasted rancid. Definitely not the fresh, high quality oil that I expected.

I purchased this olive oil to take daily shots for overall health and digestive issues. The taste is great and it smells really good. The quality seems to be very good. I’m not sure if I got the results I was looking for by taking Dailey olive oil shots, but I would recommend this product for salads, etc. it comes in a beautiful bottle and the cork has never leaked.

Beginning the “3 Tbsp per day” protocol and was looking for a quality olive oil that met these criteria: single source country of origin, dark bottle (to protect against oxidation), and high Oleocanthal / polyphenol content. Wanted ZERO chance that it was mixed with seed oils, like most of the brands at the grocery store. Received this yesterday evening and took a shot before bed - slept fantastic last night. Will only be using this olive oil oil for shots, not for cooking. Great value for the cost and my intended use. Highly recommend!

This stuff is potent. This is truly high polyphenol. I started taking it as a supplement - 1 tbsp per day (morning w/ food). The taste is peppery and it stings the throat, a sign of good EVOO. I discovered that I unfortunately cannot tolerate the high polyphenol content due to it activating my immune system, driving norepinephrine release, and causing insomnia (delayed sleep onset) - I'm 100% sure of this. As long as I consume this daily, I experience delayed sleep onset. When I stop, I sleep normally. I am probably in a very small minority of people experiencing this exact side effect. If anything, its a sign of how potent this stuff is. I'd imagine this may balance some people's immune systems. I won't discourage anyone from trying it; while it is typically anti-inflammatory, just watch out for potential side effects like immune system overactivation that can cause a ripple effect and cause other side effects.
