Shoulder pads are Back
The trend are shoulder pads not like Dynasty but softer. Not wanting to sew pads in my clothing this was a perfect option. They're just enough. Best yet you can slip your bra strap under them and the stay put No need to sew zillions of pads into blouses jackets etc. How long will this trend be in??? I bought one pair but if they hold up I'll may have to buy more.

A little large on the shoulder
I bought these because i had heard shoulder pads were coming back. I always want to be prepared. But these are a little bit too large, and I don't want to look like a football player, unless that comes back in style. LOL

a bit lacking in structure
This has always been a go-to product for tailors looking to create a strong shoulder in jackets and coats and has always done the job, but, it appears a bit flimsier than those previously produced by this company. Perhaps it's the economy, which is prompting producers to cut back a bit on materials to save money, but, while made of the same foam and having the same square shape as before, these shoulder pads are less substantial, less weighty and less structured than they used to be. If doubled, they work as they used to, but not if used singly under a heavier weight garment. The seller was super, however and shipped lightning fast.

Just like the 80's and 90's
These are like the shoulder pads I wore in the early 90's. They were perfect to help with an 80's themed prom charity event. Thank you, they were exactly what I was looking for.

Not sure how to attach this piece of foam.
These are straight on foam. Thats it. No way to attach to clothing to stay, though I doubt they'd go too far down your arm as they are rough and pick and stick to most fabrics. They are very thick and thats what I wanted. But you cant even pin them into a jacket because its foam! If they were covered in a smooth fabric with a loop to attach to a bra strap or something like that, it would work for heavier duty pieces of clothing that need a dramatic shoulder structure. Would not buy again though.

Better fit!
The shape of these shoulder pads is very good. The other formed shoulder pads have a tendency to slip, but these do not. I'm an "expert" on foam shoulder pads -- have been wearing them under my bra strap for decades! Many years ago, I discovered (through a dear friend) that they do two things -- prevent one's bra straps from digging into the shoulders, and also give one's appearance (esp. the shoulders) a better line.

Great shape, especially for t-shirts
I love the shoulder pads I've worn them for years. I wish they were a little narrower because I don't have a whole lot of room between my shoulder and neck so they show and have quite a bit of adjusting with some shirts. Otherwise perfect.
