It doesn't shave at all.
It has a small rotating razor inside it. It doesn't shave anything at all other than some 1 mm hair at max and it takes a lot of time to do that too. If you want a proper shaver, better go for some other shaver which isn't portable. Doesn't make any noise, is small and compact but doesn't do the work its supposed to.

Its simplicity.
It is good item. But I am in doubt how long it will work. There is nothing mentioned in user manual where & how the spare blade can be purchased. There is also no mention about the battery & how the battery compartment will be opened. I have contact the marketing agency & customer care center, but they are silent. If the Razor blade is not available, it will be useless after a few months.Customer should remain alert before buy that they have no customer support. Even they are absolute reluctant to give reply to the queries. On my several queries they did not utter a single word. So, customer be cautious to buy the product.

Solves a specific need
When I go on multi day hikes you want something light, battery backed and does a reasonable job. It worked well on my last hike to trim my beard and moustache. Only drawbacks are - it does not work on long hair - so you need to pretty much trim everyday and it does not do a 100% job in giving a very clean trim (leaves some spots sometimes and inspite of repeated trimming in that area does not seem to clear it) but still does a very decent job. Recommended accessory to carry in your trips for emergency trims.
