Picked up for guitars not disappointed
I bought this router because I wanted to get into guitar building. It’s a single speed of 24k rpm, but after putting it through a whole guitar build and starting a second recently I can totally recommend it. The only thing to remember is that this is a trim router it’s small and can kickback easy if you try to take away to much material. Also don’t expect it to be as fast as a full size plunge router. Like I said it’s small and not as powerful, so it’ll take maybe double the time. However I’ve had no problem with it cutting hard and soft woods. The only real criticism I have of it is the plastic base, it has a really small seam on it and over a couple route jobs the base gets full of saw dust. Just unscrew it and dump out the dust occasionally. Other than that I can completely recommend this router weather you’re like me to scared/broke to afford a plunge router or just need and extra one this is a great option.

my husband loves it.
My husband asked me to buy it for him. He hasn't complain about it so i'm assuming he is happy with his purchase

Router guide bushing doesn't fit in the subbase-plate that was designed for the router guide bushing
I haven't used this yet, just opened it. I'm trying to fit the brass router guide in it, which it looks like it was designed to accept. But of course, the whole is just a tiny bit too small to allow the router guide bushing be flush with the router subbase. this means you either have to cut the subbase plate yourself (and possibly ruining it by making it too large), or deal with likely moving the router to an angle which messes up your cuts. They can't get the router guide bushing whole the correct size? Really? This is such a simple thing to do correctly. Giving it a 3 since it is possible that other than this ridiculous flaw it otherwise works, so I might come back and lower the rating later depending on how things go.

POS
I tightened and tightened and tightened the bit kept coming loose until I finally pinched the wrenches together with a vise, seriously wrecked a project. I adjusted the height, I adjusted the height, and adjusted the height again...Finally got it to stay put when I took a clamp and pinched the gauge into place.Spend some more money and find a router with some bells and whistles. It was powerful enough to work right after I exceeded human strength with additional tools to make it work right.
