Better value than LaRue with no compromises
While I love my LaRue mounts, I have found the DD to be just as good from a quality and function perspective, but a far better value. I don't like trusting my life to cheap crap and DD never disappoints. I'll buy DD mounts when possible and only go to LaRue if DD doesn't make a mount I need now that I know the quality and execution of DD mounts is every bit as good as with their rifles. I should have known this would be the case, but sometimes you just never know...awesome product, I highly recommend. Light, simple, high quality/trustworthy, intuitive, strong. A great buy.

Fits Romeo 4M
After talking with Sig, it was up in the air whether or not this mount would be compatible with a Romeo 4M. Turns out it does! DD provides several screw lengths to work with different optics. The mount is light and sturdy. It lifts the dot right above the A2 front sight post. Should provide enough height to clear my dbal a3 once it arrives.

Isn't as generic as I'd like...
There's an unfortunate esthetic feature on the included plastic spacer - I guess to make it match up perfectly to an Aimpoint, or something - that I imagine will act as a scoop for dust and debris. Otherwise, it's great!

Missing instructions
Good quality product but package was missing instructions and package noted "see instructions inside". Was able to install on my AR15 hoping I did it correctly. If items are returned seller needs to confirm all contents remain inside before reselling.

Solid!
I have a Holosun optic sitting on this mount. Came with a lower 1/3 cowitness mount that broke day one. Ordered this DD absolute cowitness mount and I love it! Solid construction and cross bolts. Was advertised as used in good condition but packaging may be open. It was just that. Perfect with a box that had been opened. Buy with confidence! (Did not come painted. That was my work)

Should’ve just gone with the SCALARWORKS
Only received 2 washers with my mount and I can’t get the mount to stop wobbling BAD. Daniel Defense still has not responded to my attempts at contact, it just goes to show why their company is washed up. Do yourself a favor and go with a company that’ll actually care about YOU and not their washed up military contract.

Good mount
Solid and does the job. My optic hasn't shifted since I mounted it in 2017 (3 years ago as of this review). I'm just a civilian shooter, but I have used the rifle in several classes. I used blue loctite on all the screws just to be safe.

VERY STURDY MOUNT
THIS IS A VERY STURDY MOUNT, BUT AS WITH ALL DD PRODUCTS , ITS OVER PRICED. I ALSO DONT LIKE TO HAVE THEIR NAME PRINTED SO PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED, LIKE MY RIFLE IS A NASCAR.
