T Slot Bolts for Thule, Yakima Roof Rack Cross Bars, Platform, Cargo Basket, Stainless Square T Track Bolt Adapter to Secure Bike/Ski/Kayak Rack, Solar Panel, Awning, M6x35mm, 4mm Thickness

I ordered a set of Malone aero crossbars for my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. I have an older Jegs cargo carrier that I used atop our Outback, but the mounts were not ideal for the aero crossbars (they would probably work, but not ideal). I ordered this set of stainless-steel T slot bolts on Amazon. The are a perfect fit for the T slots in the crossbar. They come with the T slot bolts (M6x1mm thread), flat washers, lock washers, and a nut. I added my own fender washers and used 8 of these T slot bolts to attach the Jegs carrier. It is a perfect, secure fit and mounts pretty easily. It takes about 10 minutes to attach it to the crossbars. I am adding a set of self-designed 3D printed knobs with M6x1mm nylock washers for a faster mount and unmount, but these T slot bolts make it all possible.

I bought these to use with my awning brackets on a Rhinorack roof rack and they work exactly as intended. Can’t ask for much more than that.

These books fit the Rivian R1S / R1T crossbar setup perfectly. No issues installing or sliding them across the bar. Thanks for keeping my older roof storage devices relevant.

They did what they're intended to do. The edges are a bit sharp, but you could just take a file to them if that's a concern for you. Good and cheaper alternative to the OEM parts.

Pros: Bolts fit perfectly in my Thule rack. Cons: The lock washers permanently locked the nuts to the bolts, and the only way to remove them was to snap the bolts in half. I tried with and without the washers. I think the lock washers force the nut to crossthread making it impossible to remove. Recommendation: Ise lock-tight instead of lock washers.

These are great and a fraction of the ones from Thule. Would definitely recommend them.

Got this hardware to install a solar panel on my truck camper in the Yakima-compatible tracks. (My existing Yakima rack bolts fit well.) The supplied bolts in this pack that slide into the track are stout and seem well-built, but they did not fit into my tracks. I had to grind out ~1 mm of thickness on both sides with a Dremel tool to get the bolts to slide in easily. Comparing the supplied bolts with the rectangular hardware for my Yakima rack, these bolts are much thicker. The range of washers and lock nuts are great, though, and once I modified the bolts, they worked well to secure the solar panel to the tracks. Make sure your rack will accept these thicker bolts unless you are comfortable grinding metal!

amazing t slot bolts for roof wrack works and fits perfect

At almost 30$, this is definitely on the expensive side, but these bolts fit great with the roof bars of my 2012 VW Touareg. I used them to mount an older Yakima roof box and an awning. Time will tell if the stainless steel is of good quality and if this hardware will withstand the salt that is omnipresent on the roads here in Quebec in the winter. I'll update my review in a few months.

Great product. The bolts are in fact stainless steel as are the nuts and the larger flat washers. Delighted with the price and perfect fitment!

Arrived quickly as expected and the product seems strong and looks good, slides into the T-slot on Yakima HD bars just fine.
