This saw is AWESOME!! Popped it together real quick, threw some fuel mixed at 25:1 with Klotz oil and fired right up! I’ve seen a lot of people complain about the carb runs rich, but I think it’s because they are running the standard 50:1 fuel mixture like stihl saws run, which makes the carb adjustment rich because there is less oil and more fuel. With 25:1 it runs pretty good right out of the box. it has decent build quality ( for china) and is very close replica of the genuine MS660 from stihl. It’s a tad bit lower on power, but I think once I break it in, and do a muffler mod it will pick up some Hp. Normally you would need to put a NGK spark plug in these instead of the cheap one they come with but mine came with a NGK already in it! Also I recommend replacing the air filter with a genuine stihl ms660 filter as this knock off doesn't seal off very well. All in all, very good value saw, and if you know your way around saws, it’s definitely worth the money!!

Incredible power works right out of the box you do have to do some assembly.

I had high hopes for this saw, but it’s been nothing but frustration. Right out of the box, both the gas and oil caps leaked, leaving a mess any time the saw sat for a while. I dealt with it until the bigger issue happened — the saw seized mid-cut during a job and would not restart. From everything I’ve researched, this points to a bad carburetor and overheating. I reached out to customer service, but the options they offered didn’t address the real problem. Instead of acknowledging that the saw was seized, they gave “fixes” that weren’t relevant or practical. For a tool that’s supposed to handle heavy work, this level of reliability is unacceptable, and the lack of meaningful support makes it worse. Pros: Affordable compared to name brands Powerful when it was briefly working Cons: Gas and oil caps leak badly, making a mess Seized mid-cut and will not restart Likely carburetor/overheating issues Customer service gave unhelpful options, not real solutions Unreliable for serious work

Works great for a third the price ran four tanks of fuel trough it non stop cutting fire wood an it never missed a beat

My review is in comparison to a stihl ms660. I will say that i have not had the chance to put a lot of hours on this saw, but the hours i have put in it i will review on here. aprox 20hr rev: be prepared to assemble. the saw runs great. oiler is high flow. gas tank seeps over extended amount of time. recommend to store empty unless you plan on picking it back up in a day or two. after two weeks tank will leave gas residue but nothing close to a big leak. maybe a couple ounces a week. can replace with oem stihl tank. all compatible parts. handle, and cord feel cheap. i used a 24” stihl bar and chain. would recommend a 25” oregon bar and chain. my setup runs great. hardly bogs in red oak. does great in pine. lots of power. maybe more than the stihl 660. sounds great runs top notch. would recommend changing to oem stihl filters and spark plug and cord and top handle over time. i have not had any issues with the holzforma yet despite gas seep. GREAT SAW FOR THE MONEY. would recomend to anyone starting out on the budget or if you need a big saw for special occasions. i would not be scared to run this saw 10 hours a day. but the exterior commodities on a stihl are much more sturdy and professional for daily regular use. never had a stihl gas tank leak at all which is why i gave it 4 stars. deserves 5 but my product does slowly seep gas

This is my second purchase of a g660 pro. This is a Gen 3 model. Assembly: rating 4 out of 5. No manual included. Power: good power. Run quality: fair. Very hard to start bur once running Its good. Poor carburator quality. Used only high octane gas without ethanol. This came properly tuned unlike the first. Still haven't fixed the flimsy choke switch and Chain brake. You need to be very delicate with the these plastic parts. Cuts fast but vibration is high causing bar nuts to fly off without cranking them down (thread dope). Price: overall price is worth it for a non-professional. I would definitely want a backup if doing it professionally.

This saw is a beast! Very happy with quality and it runs great. Have owned Stihl before and this one is perfect!

Ive got two tanks through mine so far... MAN am i impressed. Bought a 36" bar, have a few chains for it. This thing rips. Tension is EASY, setup was simple and straight forward. no instructions, and I am almost new to chainsaws. used a few but never really owned and serviced one til this season. I threw this thing together based off pics i found online in 15-20 minutes. i guess if i had to complain the handle had some tension on it to get it to line up straight for all the bolts. but really wasnt hard at all. I really enjoy how simple it is to adjust tension and make chain adjustments. This thing seriously just eats through anything ive given it yet.
